A6 e-tron concept was revealed at the 2021 Auto Shanghai ++ Audi has debuted a concept version of an all-electric A6 sedan, which is coming to all major global markets and will be built on a new EV platform the company is co-developing with Porsche. A production version won’t be revealed until at least the second half of 2022, but the German automaker is targeting around 700 kilometers more than 400 miles of range for the new car, which will be called the A6 E-Tron. ++ #AudiA6etron concept is 4,960mm in length, 1,960mm in width, and 1,440mm in height, similar to the Audi A6 and Audi A7. The Audi A6 e-tron concept is also aerodynamically sound with its figure of 0.22, better than the 0.30 figure of the past A6 sedans. Looking at the front, it is immediately apparent that the Audi A6 e-tron concept is an electric-powered representative of the brand with the four rings. A characteristic feature is the large enclosed single frame grille, which is bordered at the bottom by deep air intakes for cooling the drivetrain, battery, and brakes. The flat headlight bezels extend far onto the sides of the laterally sweeping front end, underscoring the horizontally aligned architecture of the vehicle's body. The rear end of the concept car features a new generation of digital OLED elements that, as a continuous strip of lights, act like a display. The set of large 22-inch wheels and short overhangs, flat cabin, and wide coupe roof arch gives the A6 e-tron concept proportions distinctly of a sports car. ++ #AudiA6 has already come equipped with a hybrid powertrain since 2011, but with Audi’s electrification strategy, the A6 e-tron concept features two electric motors capable of delivering a total output of 469bhp and a torque of 800Nm, with a 100kWh battery which can be charged with up to 270kW in a very short time at public DC fast-charging stations. A 10 minute charge from a DC charger juices up the batteries for a 300km range, while 5-80 per cent can be achieved in less than 25 minutes. It can accelerate to 100kmph from standstill in less than 7 seconds. https://www.instagram.com/p/CN2N9iCH1IY/?igshid=bwxa24lznz4w
