i sort of want to start doing book reviews

like pretty simple ones that have the plot, if it pays off, the draws of the story (i.e., what's the diversity like, is there relevant social commentary, is it humorous and what type of humor, etc.) and places to find the book

but then

idk

there's already so many book review blogs and people and stuff

waiting for morning freshness always works :D

now to see what my instructor and classmates think

i picked a fairy tale to turn into a children's book

and laid out the beats

just have no idea how to make it unique to my telling

or how to lay it out for a child under six

headache isn't helping

so i emailed my ex today about giving me sole custody

no reply as of yet

i'm not expecting a reasonable reaction to this request

...

i feel ever so slightly nauseous

rocking the boat is not my strong suit, avoidance is

i've been some scattered, distracted, and just rambly the last...idk, year?

to the point i'm wondering if something's up with me

i know some of it's anxiety triggered restlessness

it makes me agitated and unfocused

but, idk, i wonder it it's more than that
