Pre-#cherryblossomtenmiler #shakeout run done. Despite all the unplanned downtime of late, I felt really good today. With a half-mile to go I threw in a few pickups at race effort (65%). On the last one, I decided to go a little faster. Each time I passed a house, I added 10% more effort, finishing at 95%. #topnine2018 photos were a challenge to narrow down but I think I got a good set. 1) #leelancerstrackandfield wins the indoor district title; 2) @lynnucla and I watching the @philadelphiaeagles finally win a Super Bowl; 3) results from the 4 x 800 relay at @usatfmasterstrack championships where I ran the anchor leg and took us from 8th to 5th, a scoring position; 4) @finnmcshane enjoying some outdoor freedom; 5) running the #fountainhead10k in a driving rainstorm and placing 3rd in my age group; 6) @lynnucla celebrating the first goal in @dcunited's new home, #audifield; 7) another September, another beautiful sunset in @_avalon_nj_ ; 8) back at #audifield and there was a game on our 20th anniversary, so we let 20,000 of our closest friends know about it; 9) at the finish of #richmondhalfmarathon2018. Tonight started out slow but boy did the @dcunited came out to drink and celebrate their first playoff match at the new @audifield against the @columbuscrewsc. Tonight felt alot different than any regular game it had a definite playoff atmosphere. In the end DC United ended up losing to penalty kicks but the season in general was a major success.
