Also the only spheres in which im aware of critique being expected/wanted/welcome are…1) in art school (peer critique and professors critiques are important when you’re a student artist! Not.. when you’re a professional..)… or 2) when the artist explicitly says ‘I want critique on this’ (or, 'what do you think?’)

I never even give critiques to my friends! I support them, boost them, send them praises! I ONLY give critiques to those who specifically ask for it. That’s it. 

It’s not hard. 

And I ONLY every ask for critiques from people I trust. The people who I know will give useful feedback. Just because someone on the internet has the ability to give feedback, doesn’t mean they’re *right*. I’ve seen so so so much bad advice on the internet. Your “help” is not always helpful. 

*I will also amend to say that Critiques are also expected in the workplace from people like art directors and editors. But again, those are people you trust.  B)

In nyc/ny at least teachers arent allowed to strike. Afaik. Which is an unfortunate awful thing that the union allowed into the contract :/

I mean, if NYC/NY cops can go on strike despite it being illegal (yes, it is illegal for cops to go on strike), I don’t see why teachers in the midst of a pandemic which WILL KILL THEM can’t strike as well. That being said, the New York teachers unions ARE dropping demands for their members right and left.

What I was talking about are the non-unionized states. There are five without some form of union (in some of the hardest hit states currently) and there are many more without strong unions. Those are the states that I’m saying should just... not show up to work. What are they gonna do? Fire ‘em? Fire every single teacher in the district? Fire every single teacher that wasn’t there anyway? Who are they going to hire? Not to sound like a fucking asshole but the schools would be in no position to make demands at that point.

I second the Jewish opinion above! Dont worry too much, and then later later you can always run any specific things you're concerned abt by ppl of said religions if u want.

RAD ok thank u pal, this is a good plan. I think i’m gonna do a little more reading into things so i can start at a place where i’m comfy, and then i can just go with it and ask questions if specific ideas are A Concern. 

also i’m SO GLAD U ENJOY THE BRIEFCASES. the demons carry souls in whatever bags they have on them; sidar, my main demon girl, carries them in a red jansport. i was v worried it would be depressing so i’m V GLAD PEOPLE SEEM TO LIKE IT
