Hi! What is good to bring to an audition with dance and singing? Type of bag, what to have in it, so on. Thanks, your blog is a lifesaver!!

I have a big duffle bag from Anthropologie that I bring to auditions.  Some people bring a bit tote, some bring a small suitcase, some bring a backpack...That’s really personal preference!  This is what I bring:

For singing:

My audition book. That includes...

Uptempo go-to song

Ballad go-to song

Backup uptempo

Backup ballad

Pop/rock

Aria

Contemporary

A couple of extra back-ups just in case!  Sometimes if I’m auditioning for a show that I don’t seem to have a lot in my book for, I’ll pop a few more relevant songs in my book.  Better to be prepared!

For dancing:
