Toni Storm to Defend PROGRESS Women's Title in Germany
It was announced by German Wrestling Federation that in addition to their current champion, Katey Harvey defending her title at their May 4th show in Berlin, that the event will include another belt defense, as Toni Storm‘s PROGRESS Women’s Title will be on the line at Women’s Wrestling Revolution 8: “All Eyes On Us.” Storm will be defending her prized championship against Wesna Busic in her return to the country and her official debut for the promotion. The match itself happens to be a first-time encounter between the two competitors, as Busic’s retirement from the sport in 2010 came a year earlier to Storm’s break in the business. On top of that, Busic’s resurgence and Toni’s European career have never intertwined for whatever reason and the match has never happened until now.
Also announced for the show is a one-on-one meeting between Killer Kelly and Valkyrie. Nicole Matthews, Jamie Hayter, Laura Di Matteo, Audrey Bride, Ayesha Raymond, Blue Nikita, Kati Libra, Melanie Gray, Tracy and Kat Siren are scheduled to appear.
