By now you could probably say that Himura visited Tokyo somewhat frequently, especially in the middles of the week when there was little excitement on the homefront. It was just a matter of fact that more exciting things happened in the bigger city-- Not to say Osaka was uneventful. It was good practice to hang around the greater Shopping Districts and await some petty crime to happen, if not to stop the thief, to write up a quick story on it after the fact.
(She'd left her motorcycle home today, so no crimefighting for the red bird today).
There was a small crowd gathered outside an antique store which drew her attention that way, and without another moment's hesitation, she shifted the messenger bag on her shoulder and jogged over that way, blinking and trying to see over the riled group. After catching a shimmer of broken glass on the ground, the small notepad Emi carried with her found it's way into her hand much without her consciousness of the motion.
(Maybe today wouldn't turn out to be just a shopping excursion after all).
"Excuse me," She began, tapping the shoulder of the person closest her, "Do you know what happened here?"
