Silly little Lamorac sketch.
It's incredible how someone with such gorgeous, deep red hair could be one of Camelot's finest scouts! But I suppose that fact serves as further testament to his ability.

✿: Revenge
It takes a great deal to get Gawain to want to invoke revenge on someone. With the exception of official Kingsman business, he tends not to make his life and personal vendettas overly political. He left official government service for that precise reason. But when and if he is pressed to invoke his retributional wrath on someone, it is a long, very painful process for the opposing party. Gawain has the determination of a bulldog - he will wait and take beatings until his opportunity arrives, and once his teeth are in the neck of his targets, there’s no fending him off.
✖: Family
Though Gawain has never told his step-brother what he does for a living, Milo isn’t terribly dull, and is aware of the fact that what he does is not only lucrative, but dangerous. While Gawain is out of the country, it is Milo who takes care of Chief and keeps an eye on Gawain’s house for him. More than once he’s had to pick up the pieces that missions have left of his older half-brother, but he’s never had the courage, after many warnings from Gawain, to press too deeply into his brother’s affairs. All the same, he worries deeply about him, and always fears whenever Gawain leaves if it will be the last time he’ll ever see him alive.
♛: Romance
In spite of being pansexual, Gawain is very tentative and respectful about “romance”. The reason for this is his worry over causing damage. Because of his presiding will to help those he cares about rather than cause them problems, he prefers to avoid romance and simply be a support structure. For him, it is easier to take care of sexual impulses objectively, and leave carnality outside of his subjective relationships.
✔: Pain
Gawain has an exceptionally high tolerance for pain, and has had such since he was very young. Growing up and working in the Newcastle ship yards, he became accustomed to minor injuries, and the risk of injury on the job. But due to one particular incident when he was eight years old, where because of the mistake of another worker he was struck around the chest by a snapped metal rigging cable, after which he was unconscious for several days and hospitalized for several weeks, he developed a very high tolerance for pain, which makes him both useful in the field and a risk to himself, because he will tolerate more pain mentally than his body can physically handle at times.
∞: Survival
During interrogation situations, Gawain has a very particular defense method for keeping his information to himself. Given he’s very particular about keeping his intel in his head until he can enter it into secure computers back at the Kingsman compound, he’s had multiple interrogation and torture experiences. His mental stronghold, though he’d never tell it to anyone, is an exact, inch-by-inch replica of the SS Great Eastern. But he keeps his information, his “secrets”, by mentally allowing his interrogators to rove through the bare halls and decks of his imaginary mind. Like the haunting rumor of the ship’s curse, however, he keeps his secrets with the skeletons - packed inside the double hull of the ship, not to be found unless by the ship being destroyed. He would die first, before allowing that to happen.
☁: Cooking
Though thanks to the Kingsman and his experience in Special Branch Gawain has a taste for the gourmet, he is a very modest cook in his own abode. Given he had a very conservative upbringing, he doesn’t make a point to cook extravagantly for himself, though he will do so with some proficiency for company. And he maintains and active and very nuanced knowledge of the luxury gourmet for his field work, but maintains none of his feigned pickiness under his own roof.
▲: Trust
In spite of having no problem being a pillar of reliability for others, Gawain has a great deal of trouble trusting others. Particularly because of how deep the betrayal of Arthur struck him, he is very cautious of letting others past his more professional exterior. A great deal of that exterior is being the shepherd of the Kingsman - idly making sure that everyone is protected and well-fed and sleeping well, which is why he is able to function as well as he does with his colleagues. But he would never deign to burden any of them with his own security risks, eating habits, or insomnia.
☾: Sleeping
Because of how much time he spends alone in the field, Gawain has an incredibly difficult time sleeping. This is from having conditioned himself to be on watch as much as possible when he doesn’t have secondary security or back-up, and has been perpetuated by his personal separation from the Kingsman and from any normal social group he might have. Given this, he tends to “cat nap” several times throughout the day, and does barely get the amount of sleep and REM cycles required for basic cognitive function, though it is often at odd hours and for very brief periods of time. He can, quite literally, doze off at the drop of a hat, and rouse just as suddenly.

As soon as the mission file had been placed in her hands, Delila knew immediately that she was being saddled with an inconsequential piece of busy work.
Find Agent Lamorac.
What a load of shit. Of course she couldn’t say that, she was under enough scrutiny from the others as it was and preferred to take her missions and keeping moving.
-- Even when the missions were bloody ridiculous.
She had been given a list of possible locations to find Lamorac, and while the first two turned up nothing, the third seemed slightly promising to find...something; a disused and condemned safe house under the Kingsman’s belt. She entered the building cautiously, her fingers lightly fingering the handle of the blade hidden up her sleeve as she looked around; the dust on the objects had been recently disturbed and she wondered if some hobo would try jumping out at her at any moment. She really didn’t want to be responsible to maiming an innocent today.
You can't control everything. Not everything is your responsibility. -- Sincerely, Lamorac
[SMS: LamChop]: You’re an ass. The next time you want to give me platitudes, just text me. Leaving notes on my hotel pillows is just a bit much. Secondarily, I appreciate the sentiment. But it doesn’t change that there have been consequences and I’m the responsible party.
