oscar who’s suddenly in all kinds of new places and situations and even though mark is new it feels like he’s known him intimately his whole life and knows exactly what he needs.
mark who takes care of problems behind the scenes that oscar will never even know about and who is always so thorough and careful in his handling of anything related to oscar that when he’s around oscar never worries like he usually does.
oscar who begins looking to mark for everything, relying on him for a firm hand and a reassuring nod and advice on seemingly every possible situation oscar’s found himself in. not even realizing how much power he’s giving away, or not caring either way because its mark.
mark who vows to himself to never, ever, let oscar know how much that power gets to his head. or anything else that goes on in his head.
