so esme is a chase girl, meaning she’s one of four stars of reality show chasing glory. she hates it. the only reason she stays is her sisters.

she’s always felt like the ugly duckling of the family, even though she thinks she’s pretty close with all her sisters. she’s just never felt quite part of the group.

it caused a lot of stress growing up and she battled anxiety & depression for a long time. the only thing she’s liked about fame is that it gave her a platform to do activist work for mental health!

she loves loves loves art and has practiced at it her whole life. really prides herself on her abilities.

very witty & creative, always has an upper hand in an argument bc she can throw down a really good comeback (which i am not good at so bear with me while i ask everyone for help writing my own character lol)

she’s always on the go bc it keeps her from thinking abt the big questions in life (like, why am i still here?)

can seem cold but is very generous (especially emotionally) and is more sensitive than she comes across

oh dear mimzy

mess of a child . so wild. fears nothing. will do anything and everything. favorite game is truth or dare, and she always picks dare. she craves fame and adventure and is always the one whos like “y’know what, we should go drive to new york fuckin’ city today . do we all have enough to chip in for a hotel room? yeah, we can all pile into a bed, lets go” just... spontaneous shit like that. give her a full tank of gas and shes off to go

mimzy grew up kinda emo. it was always just her and her mom who was always grinding to get enough money to raise them both . her dad skedaddled on out before she was born bc he was a piece of shit cokehead who slept around and used her mom for sex. her mom was this .. innocent lil bean . we stan mimzys mom . 

now being as broke as they were, mimzy always felt bad asking for anything from her mom. she knew her mom couldnt do it which would just make her feel bad so she turned to, u guessed it, theft ! and she got good at it. shes been caught a few times tho, her biggest problem being when she stole from a sephora despite the fact that everyone knows u shouldnt even try to steal from a sephora. mimzy, ur an idiot. she was on probation a few times as a minor and was lucky enough to slip out of juvy. it was always a thing tho . she wanted the best of the best, and she couldnt have it. 

this is why she turned to stealing. shes muse a in plot 19, aka the ringleader of a group of young adults who steal from the richer peoples houses. 

shes never been too intelligent or good in school which is why shes always kept a lower end job and relied on stealing and selling things to get by. shes never felt that she had too much of a purpose in life

miscarriage tw: mimzy was always someone who slept around a lot, just loved havin a good time and didnt want to settle down until late in life . besides, she didnt think she was really worthy of anyone dating. when she was 18 she found herself pregnant after a hookup with one of her friends. she’ll never say this too publicly to anybody, but when she found out she was actually excited, thinking that maybe being a mom could be a purpose for her in her life, but ... she had a miscarriage and lost her child, and it was a pretty brutal one. i’ll spare u the details. ever since then tho shes kinda just .. lost her purpose even more . just kinda livin life .

just to preface, chiara is a perfect lil mixture of charlie kelly from iasip (sorry i’m trash and so is she), elsa from the hookup plan (which i know no one knows lmao), and illana from broad city. so, in short, she’s a sloppy little angel who thinks having a good time and being wild is her only purpose in life

picture the perfect mayor’s daughter: chiara is the opposite of that. for most of her life, she was a good little noodle and enjoyed the attention and pressure that came with her father’s vocation, but once she hit puberty and the rope tightened, she began to rebel

since she was little, it was her dream to become a famous fiction writer (specifically fantasy books) and she always had a book in her hand as a child. one day, in a heated discussion with her parents, her father let it slip that she would never be able to do so as she was destined for a career in politics. from this point on, chiara thought if she had no real future she desired, she would go ahead and have fun with it

she’s actually surprisingly intelligent and enjoys debates about philosophy and theory, but she rarely gets to do so as she plays the sweet, simple daughter whenever she’s in her father’s presence

other times, she could be found at parties of all manners and size, the purple turtle knocking a few back when she can persuade the bartenders, or at las deux where she is such a valued patron due to her almost nightly appearances

underneath all of the drugs, alcohol, and dancing, chiara is actually lonely as she feels that she has no true friends who are not using her or her family’s influence. she still reads and writes but she hides it to herself for fear of rejection again

still, she’s a bit of an adrenaline junkie and whenever she can find a moment to do something insane in augusta that not everyone does, she finds a way to make it happen, like bungee jumping or even experiencing with parkour

with all of that said, she’s still pretty guarded and when things get too personal she can switch to a cold, unfeeling individual who does not resemble her ebullient persona whatsoever and this is something that she actively struggles with

melody kim loves ferociously

it’s evident in her relationship with her siblings no matter how wrought with stress she will always come back to them 

it’s evident in her boundless hope for even the strangers she encounters that we can all be someone better than who we are 

and it’s evident in her forgiveness time and time again of everyone who’s hurt her. the parents who left her, the lover who scorned her

she has a heart wide enough to swallow the whole sun and make it shine from within her 

but the world isn’t as kind as melody is 

and she knows, knows the hurt and the pain are everywhere but she continues to choose to love and forgive and to trust 

melody’s not stupid, but she would light herself aflame to keep someone else warm 

as a child she was always the encourager, the positive light, but never the one to step into the center, content on hiding in the shadows

so it was quite a surprise when melody announced that she’d be majoring in premed, and furthermore attending medical school after that 

it was the one thing her life she allowed herself to be selfish with. her dreams, her aspirations for her family

but it was a fools game to mistake her for some starry-eyed ingenue. she’d seen the worst and yet chosen to embrace the best 

but maybe how often she put herself in the line of fire said more about her than it did about the people who took little pieces of her heart

tldr: melody kim is an incurable optimist who loves everyone around her. she’s currently doing double duty as a nanny by day medical student by night. she struggles with continuing to invite toxicity into her life in the delusion that she can help everyone.

sugar daddy: this is my most wanted plot of all plots PLEASE. melody works all day and studies all night, someone is attracted by her demeanor and offers her a proposition. sex & romance for certain transactions; be they her tuition, gifts, or anything of the sort. melody is a hopeless romantic who was set of rejecting the offer but after recently falling on hard times the offer is looking more and more attractive 

upper class bff: melody comes from a low income household but she makes friends easily. these two became friends in high school after being paired as lab partners and have been inseparable since. but sometimes mel can’t help but feel like a rebellious phase for upper crust friend

exes: for as enraptured with romance as she is melody can push people away something fierce. she never knows when to stop giving and for some that can be a turn off. she has a few exes in her wake

employer: someone who is employing melody as a nanny! 

study buddy: someone who is also in schooling for the medical field! they likely met during long nights at the library and have taken to studying together.

libby is an only child and was born march 2nd, 1996 (making her a pisces sun, scorpio moon, virgo ascending) to jonathan and carolyn grace in san francisco, california

her parents were loving to her, but their marriage, brought on by the fact that they had gotten pregnant with her at 22 and 20, respectively, was always rocky. the year she turned ten, it completely fell apart after her mother discovered her father was cheating on her for the third time – she served him divorce papers and moved across the country to augusta, maine, where she was originally from, and took libby with her.

the court ordered a custody agreement to be written up, and so until she turned eighteen, libby would spend school years in augusta with her mother and then travel to california to live with her father for nearly the entire summer.

her dad ended up marrying the woman he cheated with, and though she does love her father and even grew to love her stepmother over the years, watching her mother deal with the pain and betrayal tore libby apart. she had always been more attached to her mom and the two of them moving across the country only strengthened their bond, so she still harbors a lot of unrealized resentment towards her dad and stepmom for the whole thing.

because of this, libby is nervous to move too fast into relationships. in spite of this, she is also an intensely hopeless romantic. she’s in love with the idea of being in love but is terrified of putting all her trust into someone only to have them turn around and betray it. 

and when it comes to sex, the fear of ending up in the same position as her parents led to the decision that she wouldn’t give that part of herself to someone until she was sure they were the the right one. it’s just unfortunate considering not many people, at least at her age, are willing to wait, so she hasn’t ever had a real adult relationship that lasted more than a week.

aside from all of that, libby is a very kind, very dreamy, very empathetic soul. she cares deeply for everyone and everything, even going so far as to save worms stranded on sidewalks after it rains, and for lack of better terms is a huuuuge hippy. she wishes everyone could just love one another and be at peace, but since that isn’t realistic, she’s a huge advocate for things from human/animal rights and climate change prevention to personal wellness and healthiness and happiness.

normally you can find her outside writing or sketching in her journal, or at the local gym where she teaches yoga classes. she currently still lives with her mother and has a pug named percy whom she adores with her whole heart.

overall libby is a total pisces and a huge sweetheart and i’d love to get some plots or even just pals for her because i love her so much already, so seriously feel free to message me or like this or whatever!! i’ll be home in a few hours :’) love y’all

hi y’all!! i’m claire and this here is josephine aubrey allen, aka josie, or jo, or phee. i’m so super stoked to have her here w all these other amazing muses and can’t wait to finally actually interact!! anyways ima just info dump about her now as is intro tradition so here we go

josephine was born on november 4th, 1995 (making her a scorpio sun, aries moon, and capricorn ascending) to bruce and donna allen, right here in augusta. she has two brothers, one younger and the other older, but they’re all fairly close in age. their parents were loving, but usually distant, spending most of their time working.

from an early age, josie just had this intense confidence and charisma about her. she wasn’t afraid to meet new people, didn’t even cry her first day of preschool – okay bye, mommy! see you later! – and if you dared make a decision for her, she would fight tooth and nail until you gave up. 

(75% of the time she even ended up making the same choice anyway, smiling innocently at you all the while.)

her brothers would complain about her being bossy sometimes, about her being almost mean in her bluntness, but their parents always waved them off. sure, maybe jo could be a little much on occasion, but she was assertive and driven and passionate and curious and clever, too, and they didn’t want to dampen that spark. she always knew what she wanted and so they let her go for it.

during a high school career fair, she met a woman, virginia grey, who owned her own business, planning upscale events for clients, called eventive. something about the freedom and power that came with entrepreneurship really appealed to her, so she made sure to make an extra good impression. they kept in touch and by the time she graduated that spring, she had been offered a position working directly under virginia.

now, at 23, she’s been promoted and regularly works on projects by herself, specializing in weddings. in a few years, she wants to open her own business, but only after she’s amassed as much knowledge and as many loyal clients working at eventive as she can to bring along with her.

k this bit is particularly about plot 10

so jo has been best friends with muse a almost her entire life, at least definitely longer than she can remember. their parents work together, and as the story goes, they met once as very very young children at a company event and have been attached at the hip ever since. 

the one thing she’s struggled with most in life is vulnerability. it’s very hard for her to be open and honest about her feelings, even with her own parents, and that’s really how she prefers it. she keeps herself guarded on purpose, but somehow, being real with muse a has always come so easy. throughout the years, they’ve shared literally everything with one another. coming from a home with two brothers

until muse b came into the picture, that is, because here’s the thing!!! muse b has completely flipped her world upside down. she never expected to find another person she could genuinely trust, and genuinely be herself around, but he took her by surprise. before long, she became nearly as close to him as muse a is.

unfortunately, that’s the problem. they’ve had this natural chemistry since the beginning and despite both trying to fight it, they finally gave into one another one day. at first they both wrote it off as a drunken mistake but then it kept happening, and now jo can’t seem to stop coming back for more. 

so far, they’ve been able to keep it a secret, but she isn’t naive enough to think that will last forever. eventually they’ll have to stop if there’s going to be any chance of muse a not finding out, it’s just... she kiiiiinda really hates the idea of not being with muse b anymore. she caught feels, so to speak, even if she won’t admit it to herself.

her worst fear is becoming her mother—cash being the only thing she cares about. unfortunately, she’s already halfway there.

nothing is a big deal to her, she knows you can buy your way out of any problem.

she does care about select few people and would go to the ends of the earth for them, it would just take her a while to get off her ass and do it.

she mooches off sonny a lot—lives in the house they grew up in, made her get her a job at the purple turtle (which she cares very little for and is always pissing aiden off).

she wasn’t always to lazy and aimless, but after graduating and going to college for a bit but never knowing what she wanted out of life, she just got bored. so she fills in the boredom with anything that excites her.

partying, dating, stealing. if anyone wants a toxic relationship plot, lmk! i’d love that for her.

her label would be the lost soul — she has no purpose and it’s basically going to ruin her life. tragic. anyway!
