Looming out over your tiny balcony on a misty rain-soaked, neon drenched city, you see star ships far up in the sky, and you wonder… With the advance of cybernetic technology, the human body can now be “augmented” a mechanical casing is made for the human brain that allows access to the Internet and other networks. You continue. The complexity of man and machine coexisting within a vast network that links the minds of cybernetically enhanced humans is now part of daily life. As you stare lost in the moment, plumes of flames billow in the distance from the refinery towers of this endless cityscape littered with skyscrapers and pyramids, where androids roam, cars fly, people smoke inside with our AI by our side. Again you wonder, as you gaze over the wet, mist covered buildings, is it’s surface all that there is, or does its life stream run deeper than the things we can see, hear and touch in this futuristic megalopolis. ====================================== From the lowest points in the underbelly of the concrete jungle to the highest points traveling the stars. A future we’ll never see. ======================================
