Just Friends

Okay can I just rant for a second? I read this book that I'm sure many people on Tumblr might have heard about, it's called Just Friends by Billy Taylor. It's a book based in England about a boy and a girl who are best friends. So basically it's the story of them growing up and realizing they are meant to be together and shit. Anyways, I read a passage from it on tumblr and it looked really good so I decided to read it. I have to say that I'm genuinely disappointed. The basic concept of the storyline was really good but it was not written to its full potential. The author could have made it into an amazing book but there were so many irrelevant things that didn't need to be added. I was just really disappointed but I had to keep reading to see how it ended. Anyways, if you're thinking about reading this book, just don't. Unless you're thinking about using it as a reference to do a better job of writing it.
