Huh. I’m just a little surprised that someone put that out there. Ummm… yes. Character names do frequently change in the process of development. Sometimes for reasons. And sometimes because corporate legal departments do name searches and title clearances, so they may elect to force a name change if there’s any conflict, because if they decide to create some sort of ancillary product around those characters, they want to own the title without legal challenges. :-) As for possibly bad duel masters… none were planned in writing. Season 3 would have presented interesting possibilities for all kinds of new characters, however. (sorry, no, I can’t talk about what we had planned).
