At the beginning of every month I sit down and jot down a few goals for the 30 or 31 days ahead. August always takes a little bit longer. I am always feeling a little more ambitious and a little more worried that with the end of summer comes the end of my opportunity for adventure. This year, though, maybe I should just let August be and enjoy the days before the sweaters and pants are taken out of hibernation. Maybe I should take some recently given advice and start setting myself up for success rather making plans that have no way of following through. Maybe my goal this month is to have no goals and see where that takes me.

I was thinking that but I’m not sure how short to go and I’m kind of wary of the time it will take to grow back. I’ll probably do it anyway. Thank you for helping!

yeah I guess journalists try to make things easier to grasp but because of that our knowledge of what's happening is a bit too black and white, Slate had this piece on fascism in Ukraine and there's probably more, but I'm not an expert ;) 

btw I don't want to say that there aren't antisemites or fascists on the pro-Russia side or that all pro-EU Ukrainians are fascists, just that the fascism in Ukraine is really scary and that the anti-Russia side is not necessarily democratic
