OMG!! I was obsessed with August Rush when it came out, like I could quote this movie in my sleep obsessed. I think I was obsessed because it was so beautifully done and you could just lose yourself in the story and the rush of the music. I remember feeling all the emotions of the wheel while watching this on repeat. I think I remember why I obsessed over this movie, I think it was because of how it could make everything we take for granted just seem so magical and beyond belief. OMG! That's how you revisit your childhood. 😭😭 I felt all those emotions all over again, it feels like the first time I've seen August Rush even though I've seen it countless time. Right in the heart with its feels. This time as an adult, I'm able to appreciate August Rush a lot more than I did as a kid. I can understand it's a story of love and passion, a story not just of music but its connection to life and how love & music go beautifully hand in hand. A story of a young boy looking for his parents, a story of a mother never giving up on what she thought was lost and a man who never gave up on his lost love. I think I know what I'm going to revisit again, over and over until the end of my life.
