Very excited to post this one because Willow and Gus are awesome but specifically Willow.

Cause she’s strong and feminine and it’s not like “OH MY TITAN that girl is strong and so girl!” It’s more of “yeah that’s willow. She throws people sometimes” and it also isn’t just that she’s inherently strong it’s that she works out and actively improves herself.

It’s not some novelty that she’s physically strong and a girl. It’s just that she is.

The only times people were doubting her strength despite her being strong is because she wasn’t strong in the past, not because she was a girl.

Overall, the owl house is great in showing female characters. And characters overall (lgbtq+ characters, characters with non-nuclear families, characters who are feminine, characters who are masculine and ect).

And it does it by just letting the idea be there. It’s not shoved in your face, it’s just there.

And I’ll talk more about that when I get to Hunter but I’ll probably be doing Amity and the Blights next.

Considering that Gus loves learning about humans it would have been really cool to see him kind of freak out because he just saw like the worst side of humanity in belos and his memories.
