The bands represent bracelets found that date back to the bronze age. This represents the long history of human inhabitantation of the area. There are two of them to represent the mainland and the island of the municipality. The blue and gold represent the sunset over the ocean.

Lykopen er det samme stoffet som gir tomater sin fine farge. Blader med mye rødt skyldes antocyanin, som blåbær er stappfulle av. 🤓 . 🥕 Many people know chlorophyll is what makes leaves green. But what about the other colors that emerge when the chlorophyll disappears in the fall? They may have difficult names, but you know them from other contexts: The yellow-orange comes from the same β-carotene as in carrots. Lutein is what also makes the egg yolk yellow. Lycopene is the same substance that gives tomatoes their nice color.
