Re: updates, I think Ngozi has said that she has to work ahead because Book 2 is to be published this year, so the publisher needs at least basic layout (even if all aren't coloured etc) soonish, so that's why she's working so far ahead of what's being posted.

Ooh true. I hadn’t even thought about this because we got a few behind the scenes post about Whiskey 4.09. But you’re right! There’s been no blog post yet. (But maybe the info post is in place of?)

It's the weirdest thing.  

Fitzgerald is a great winger and he and Jack are on a scoring streak. Barely a game goes by that he doesn't, at some point, hear the buzzer go off, hear the crowd roar, and wheel around to find Fitzgerald coming for him with a celly.

Jack always wants to punch him.

He can picture it so clearly, and sometimes his fist clenches up, his fingers shift on his stick to grab hold of Poots' jersey. Just sock it to him, right in the jaw, bowl him clean over, let him fall down. Use his hold on the jersey like a pivot point to make sure it happens.  Skate away. Celly.

Instead Jack just opens his arms, claps Poots on the back, turns to laugh at some other guy.  And his cellies have felt kind of sour lately.

Jack can't figure it out. It's so weird.
