Falling Kingdoms Aesthetic 1/?: Princess Cleiona Bellos of Auranos

“Follow you heart wherever it leads. Appreciate life, Cleo. It's a gift that can be stolen at any time.”
This is for the earthquake scene in Rebel Spring. I composed this piece to start at "An arrow sliced through the air..." (247) and end at "... and the world stopped shaking" (249). The percussion break between the first half and the second half of the piece lines up with "At that second the temple began shaking, trembling at first, and then more and more violently" (248). Enjoy!
I wrote this piece after some recent inspiration. This is the scene where Lucia is being escorted to the door of Castle Bellos to break it down. After the door explodes (which happens about 2/3 through the song) the rest is the Limerian guards storming the palace.
"We spent the day together, pledging our love and devotion with the beauty of nature as our witness. I committed myself to him forever and he to me. It was perfect, Cleo. For just a few hours, everything was so perfect. We watched the sunset together and counted the stars as they appeared. He said we’d become stars when we died, watching over the ones we love. Now I watch the sky every night hoping to find him there—hoping to see him again. I miss him so much I know it’s the cause of this illness. My grief has burrowed into me like a dark thing that eats away at my life."
