1: Hot, Steamy kissANGRY CAMEL NOISES
Hawke was not one to turn down a dare. Nor was she one to turn down a drink. One of these these came more often than the other, and neither were mutually exclusive. It just so happened that they seemed to travel in pairs. A deadly combination, to be sure. Or at least, so Hawke would joke, she never considered that death would ever actually be the result.
Until now, as she perched on the edge of barrier at the port side of the ship. Ornstein stood not far from the bow. She was just far enough from him not to cause any question, but, well, close enough.
The deal was that if Brian the cargo boy was able to knock his helmet off, she would kiss him. Her hope was that he would be caught so off guard that she could be there, have kissed him, and disappeared before he had a chance to skewer her. Or worse. But there was always that chance her plan would fail, and considering past experiences, plans rarely went perfectly.
A woop and a clatter signalled her time to go and she launched herself forward at full pelt. Their lips collided and she just managed to reach hands up to tangle in his hair before she felt it. A clawed fist, gripping the back of her leathers.
She waited for what felt like an eternity for the feeling of her guts dripping from her belly, but it was not so. It did however take half a second longer than it should have for her to realise that she was flying through the air. At the last second fingers grappled, just managing to grip a loose bit of rope that hung over the edge of the boat. She had no clue what it was attached to, but could only hope that thing was sturdy as she swung perilously side to side.
She glanced up just in time to see Ornstein wipe his lips with an expression far too strong to name disgust before stalking off. Grunting, she struggled, but every shift with intent of climbing only made her slide further, the sea spraying at her face and hands only making the pursuit even harder. She only had one option.
