V A L E N T I N O . Fall 1999. Featuring the gorgeous Gisele, Audrey, Aurelie and Isabelli, the girls were captured by Steven Meisel, in what appears to be a glamours pre drinks gathering. Valentino's last collection of the 20th century consisted of simple and chic silhouettes with lots of embellishments, metallics and just enough animal print to make it young yet still sophisticated. It also had somewhat of a comfort factor. I remember thinking how glamorous this campaign appeared, not glamorous in the traditional sense, more like a cool glamorous, hanging out with the "cool kids" ( especially since the girls were all my age ).
