The man standing before him was the absolute epitome of everything that Niles hated about the mobility. Sheer excess oozed from every cell of his body, and the look on his face spoke of nothing but pure disdain. He looked at Niles as if Niles was a particularly annoying fly buzzing around his head.

“I will not ‘get used to it’,” he said, scowling. “You must be new here. Lord Leo told me to be polite to you, but you should know that the look on his face told me that he despises you just as much as I do. So- you’ve pissed me off, and you’ve pissed off my liege. In short, it’s my absolute displeasure to meet you. My name is Niles, expect to see a lot of me whilst you’re here.”

The polite thing would have been to say thank you to the one who had so kindly rid of the rogue ai. And yet any intentions of doing so were proved to be nonexsistent when bronze eyes met a familiar figure. One she had been all but positive that had left the moment peace return to SE.RA.PH.  But here in all his gold glory the King of Heroes stood.

A genuine look of surprise finds a place upon her expression and last for but a mere moment. A blink, a lone flutter of her lashes and that emotion was gone, the glitch’s face returning to that of a deadpan. Scrutiny began to set in once more.

It was rather suspicious. For him to be here was more than just a little suspicious given he viewed her as nothing but entertainment and this body could not say she was pleased with the development.

What reason would he have to saving her? Heck how did he even manage to track her down? Hakuno had come across a fair number of servants that had lent her momentary aid during her travels through the expanse of the new grounds within the Moon Cell but as of late she hadn’t been to anything that resembled civilization like Nero’s domain in who knows how long.

      “So you found out I’m alive, huh...” She had no reason to not to question him. In fact her instincts urged her on to do so, nevermind thanking him. “How long have you been following me Goldie?”

        💌 Alex took off down the beach instantly after ditching her shoes. Mostly all of her other effects that the water could do damage to. Toes in the wet sand she shivered a bit at the strange feeling before the water filed in up to her ankles. 

              She then looked back, “ Are you going to stand there all day? Come on in the waters wonderful~!” No matter who it was she wanted them to join her in the fun that and after being in all that sand at least the water felt nice. 💌

Nix winced a little as Gilgamesh pulled her off to the side to inspect her injury. It was a cut across her left upper arm, left behind from an arrow that was fired her way. It didn’t fully strike her but it certainly left it’s mark either way. The king was being a touch irrational, claiming she needed permission to ‘bleed’ but that was just his way of being concerned. It was a strange thing to say on a battlefield but he was a different manner of man all together. The first time he saw her patrolling outside of the castle, the gold clad king declared that she was his now. Ever since he decided that and was lending the king his forces, she had been by his side. Though it was more of a choice now.

“I wasn’t causing any trouble, Gilgamesh.. I was fighting like I always have been. As for who did this and how, it was the enemy archer over there. I was about to get them when I bumped into you.”

She yelps softly as he taps her forehead. Immediately, she moves back a few steps and away from the less than kind monarch. Monarch--because despite his technical classification as a servant, it certainly seemed like their roles were in reverse at times.  Scowling, she rubs her forehead.

“I know I heard something. Even if it had just been the wind whispering, that’s cause for even more concern.” Her affinity for the element, after all, often brought unintended perks. That included the occasional warning.

“Or don’t tell me--the almighty king is incapable of helping me investigate?” She was definitely walking a thin line with him, but then again--that had been the nature of their relationship from the beginning.
