anon (); source You have thought about your past more than your future?
“...”
What else was there for her to think of, to look to, to vie for? It was selfish, completely and utterly selfish in ways that this body should never long for. As it stood now this was the happiest ending that could be achieved. The true ruler of Regent of SERAPH, the real Kishinami Hakuno and Nero had been able to achieve that which she could not do herself. The Umbral Star and Archimedes had been successfully routed, Altera had a chance to live, to live without bounds and without regret.
Altera finally had a chance to live like the two of them dreamed of together and she was truly happy for it.
And yet she missed it.
A wretched wish, a wretched dream. She wanted to go back to when she could be in that cage, back when she was within that ring, back when she was at her side and loved her unconditionally, if even for one day more. One second more second-
It was emotions like regret, of desire that only a human could experience wasn’t it? It was proof that she was no longer empty in the most grim of ways.
To be glitched in such a way that she must have this continued existence was a mistake to paint her heart in such an ugly colour. To allow her to form those feelings, to corrupt her mind so that she wanted for her future deletion to come as quickly as her feet traveled to escape it out of fear.
“....Yes.”
Truly it was funny how for as full of emotion she felt, her heart felt hollow.

“...”
What was to be said, what could be said? Were it said to anyone else, to someone she cared about the rebuttal would have come so easily. It wasn't that her backbone and stubbornness wasn’t the issue. Hakuno’s expression remained blank, ridged in forced calmness. The words struck harder than they had any right to. Struck a part of her that even Archimedes failed to reach. Rather, it was circumstances of her existence that made her hesitate, words depleted and head empty.
As it currently stood she, a mere body without a mind or soul, was unique. Hakuno was unique in her capabilities to self sacrifice on a global scale, dooming every instance of her body to death for a one in a million chance to save someone she loved. She was unique in being one persisted beyond her expiration date on a mere fluke of computer. She was unique in witnessing a happy ending that Altera rightfully deserved when she should not, when rightful ruler of the moon cell was whole once more.
And for all of that uniqueness this body was alone.
A glitch like her shouldn’t exist, she was all too aware of that. One her hand bore no command seals, her capabilities of a mage all but, shot. Were that not enough even if she should want to attempt to remain in Nero or Tamamo ‘s domains the exception that allowed her to exist would be discovered without a doubt and ensure her deletion once more. Hence she was left to wander.
Alone.
Closing her eyes, the body of Hakuno let out a weary sigh. There really was no ways around it. No counterpoint to the reality she lived.
“I know...” Yet, it didn’t mean she was happy to be reminded of that fact. “I’d prefer you not remind me. It’s kinda hard to forget.”
“The girl... she still makes my instincts go mad. I want to keep away from her and her lookalikes....”
"You are my Master yet you are not them, aren't you?" A saddening smile appeared on her face, making Tamamo immediately cough into her fist and smile brighter. "Nevermind that! Master is still Master no matter what part of your existence it is. Now, now, tell your dearest Caster e-ve-ry-thing~ Teehee, I mean, everything your soul desires, I would happily try to do! A homecooked meal? A massage? Some lullabies? Perhaps, using my lap as a pillow? Just ask!" She was trying hard to look cheerful.
It must have been difficult looking at her, speaking to her like this. She was a shoddy version of her master, even less than the fraction that Caster had taken claim to. Did she miss the soul that had found their way to her? Did the completed version of the regent not satisfy her?
Then again the true Hakuno Kishinami seemed to have Nero by her side, the roman emperor enamored with the master and those affections seemed to go both ways.
As souless, as mindless, of a person she was it was something that Hakuno knew for a fact. If the woman had been able to spark something within her despite everything she had done for Altera, then there was no doubt that the completed version of herself harboured emotions that were far more fierce that the simple spark.
But… Where did she fit into the situation?Did Tamamo fit into it at all?
Was that why she was looking at someone that shouldn’t be like this? Was that why that smile seemed so fragile despite her best attempts at bestowing it at it’s brightest upon her? The sight was heart wrenching to look at and even harder to deny.
She still remembers a world, a time, where this body watched her perish. Where the sight brought about an emptiness, a hurt, that left her choking back emotions that this body shouldn’t have for herself.
“Caster….” This Hakuno Kishinami could not promise anything to this woman, she could not promise to stand by her side. Moon Cell would be upon her soon enough, the glitch that allowed her a chance to see what she chose to die for gone within an instant she stayed in a place for too long. Remaining in this domain would be her downfall were she not careful.
Yet, she can’t turn away this precious person. This precious servant of her’s.
“I don’t mind resting for a while, traveling alone is really draining,” Taking Caster’s hand into her own Hakuno’s word were soft. A gentle murmur, a moment of weakness in her solitary existence. “…I wouldn’t mind good company and a warm meal Tamamo.”

The resemblance to the red Archer that stood by the true regent of SE.RA.PH was certainly there. But that wasn’t it. That wasn’t the reason the fragmented master felt something when looking at him. It wasn’t drew her in about him. Thar wasn’t the reason he felt like something more than familiar to her.
Yet she doesn’t know why that is.
Hakuno Kishinami came to a standstill. It felt like she’s at the beginning of this fiasco again. The things that she should know gone, wiped clean like the soul and mind that this body was suppose to house.
After everything, she felt empty again. Looking at him and being unable to come up with anything, words, ideas, that would help put a label on the servant and what lured her in was uncomfortable. As if it was a reminder that someone so incomplete shouldn’t exist as even a glitch.
Truly, the real Hakuno Kishinami wouldn’t have this issue.
“You aren’t a Top Servant summoned by Moon Cell, are you?”
fatuscruelte replied to your post: “I am not going in the Gate of Babylon.”
archer gil vc: fufuhahahaha! you speak as if you possess any worth to be considered part of my gate of babylon! rest assure mongrel, i would never waste my effort in letting you set foot inside.
“I’m glad we’re on the same page. I’d hate to see all the tacky treasures you’ve hoarded over the years Goldie.”

The polite thing would have been to say thank you to the one who had so kindly rid of the rogue ai. And yet any intentions of doing so were proved to be nonexsistent when bronze eyes met a familiar figure. One she had been all but positive that had left the moment peace return to SE.RA.PH. But here in all his gold glory the King of Heroes stood.
A genuine look of surprise finds a place upon her expression and last for but a mere moment. A blink, a lone flutter of her lashes and that emotion was gone, the glitch’s face returning to that of a deadpan. Scrutiny began to set in once more.
It was rather suspicious. For him to be here was more than just a little suspicious given he viewed her as nothing but entertainment and this body could not say she was pleased with the development.
What reason would he have to saving her? Heck how did he even manage to track her down? Hakuno had come across a fair number of servants that had lent her momentary aid during her travels through the expanse of the new grounds within the Moon Cell but as of late she hadn’t been to anything that resembled civilization like Nero’s domain in who knows how long.
“So you found out I’m alive, huh...” She had no reason to not to question him. In fact her instincts urged her on to do so, nevermind thanking him. “How long have you been following me Goldie?”
