sometimes i wish i grew up during the time where therianthropy was more niche than it is now, when it was just starting to get it's foot through the door. when i first started getting into therianthrope spaces online (around when i was 15 iirc) it was a lot of catering to anti-therians so i've had to relearn, 4-5 years later, what i was originally taught to be right/wrong therianthrope expression and experience.

and i realize i kind of just... dont care anymore? not as in "i dont care that people are misinterpreting what it means to be a "therian" or "non-human" in general" -- i dont care, as in "im tired of trying to see what the masses have to say about the non-human experience and ways you are & are not allowed to feel about your therianthropy". i am of the opinion now that people should be allowed to say they are a wolf without having to specify whether or not they mean physically, psychologically, spiritually, or other, and if they do identify differently, that they shouldnt be ridiculed for it. alterhumanity is such a vast open field of different experiences and interpretations, and at it's core it is not being human.

live and let live fr. have some whimsy or something. policing people's identities (so long as the identity itself isnt harmful... like fuck radqueers and 'transnazis' and whatever the fuck? 😭) is not the kind of community i signed up for. imo it has a lot to do with the fact a shit ton of the community now is tiktokers who are young teens who dont know as much as they think they do and are themselves not fully grasping what it means to BE non-human (sincerely someone who used to be like that), but im not sure if thats like... a hot take so we'll leave it at that ig

furthermore, in my own journey of self discovery, finding who i am and choosing to use labels that accurately describe how i feel emotionally and physically, i almost exclusively refer to myself as "non-human" point, blank, period. i am technically a therian, technically otherkin, technically a bunch of other things that fall under the umbrella of alterhumanity, but non-human is more right feeling than those other terms. i dont feel the need to say "physical nonhuman" or psychological or spiritual; i just am nonhuman. i am a lycanthrope. i am a wolverine. i am a timber wolf. i am a dragon. i am anything but 'human'. and nothing, not even the beast that is the internet, can or will change that.

this is not bashing anyone that uses certain terms btw, pls dont think that. i am rambling about my own thoughts and feelings about myself and my experiences. thats kinda it. sharing it to the void on the off chance it helps someone else

why do people who fit another person's dni criteria still choose to interact. like what do u get outta interacting with people that either dislike or really fucking hate you?? i started putting it in my tags that i dont want endos interacting ("endos dni") and ofc mf endos STILL be interacting.

if u wanna use my userboxes, and ur an endo/pro endo (EVEN IF UR NEUTRAL ON ENDOS)... fuck awf and just make ur own!!!! just copy it or something idc just make ur own. i dont own any of the images, nor do i own the concept of a format with an image beside a text box

it cost nothing to make ur own assets for yourself or other people like you. there are so many free programs out there that will enable you to be able to create ur own assets. various tutorials out there
