The school bell rang. Students rushed out of their classrooms, eager to end another day of school. Nino walked with Marinette and Alya outside. Marinette and Alya kissed each other’s cheeks in a good-bye gesture.
“See you tomorrow, Marinette. So, Nino, homework at my place tonight?” Alya said.
“Wait, tonight? You sure you said tonight?” Nino asked.
Alya frowned and glared at Nino.
Nino put his hands up. “Well, look, I promised Adrien I’d drop off the schoolwork his missed today ‘cause of his shoot.”
Alya narrowed her glare and crossed her arms.
Nino frowned. “What? We can do homework anytime. Adrien is my bro. Besides, it’s not like I said I’d do homework with him. Chill, Alya.”
Alya opened her mouth when Marinette ran up and put her arms around their shoulders.
“No worries, guys! You go and do your homework together, and I’ll drop off the lessons at Adrien’s later on,” Marinette offered.
“That’s an amazing idea. You’ll take her offer, right, Nino?” Alya pressed.
Nino furrowed his brow and opened his mouth when Sabrina’s voice caught his attention.
“That’s terrible! You hear that, Chloe? Aurore’s GPA dropped a whole point on her last report card!” Sabrina announced.
Nino frowned as he glanced over and saw Chloe and Sabrina blocking Aurore’s path. Annoyance tore through him seeing the pair antagonize Aurore, but it was on brand for them. They both seemed to love trouble and to cause it.
Chloe smirked. “You can’t be Little Miss Weather Girl and ‘Little Miss Good’ Grades at the same time. Better not make her cry or she might turn into Stormy Weather and start raining on us! What a ridiculous power!”
Nino growled and stormed towards the trio and stood between Chloe and Aurore.
“Oh, look who’s playing hero, the clueless one! What brings Captain Clueless to the rescue?” Chloe mocked.
“Not cool, Chloe. Aurore is doing her absolute best. At least she is actually working hard for what she wants opposed to you who just snaps her fingers and gets what she wants like a spoiled princess.”
“How dare you? I am no princess. I am a Queen, Queen Bee!”
“Some queen you are. More like a lowly peasant.”
Chloe and Sabrina gasped. Chloe opened her mouth when Marinette and Alya joined Nino. She frowned and pointed at Nino.
“This isn’t over, Lahiffe,” Chloe hissed.
Chloe stormed off with Sabrina on her heels. Nino sighed and turned to Aurore.
“Sorry about that, dude. You alright?”
Aurore smiled as she tucked a strand of hair behind her ear. “Yeah. Thank you for helping me with her. It was really brave of you.”
Nino grinned. “It was nothing. And, hey, if you need help with any of your work, I can help. Alya and I are going to be working homework tonight if you want to join us.”
“Excuse me?” Alya said.
“What? Something wrong?”
“Nino, it’s supposed to just be us. Not us and Aurore,” Alya pointed out.
“A friend needs help, Alya. Is it wrong that I’m offering to help a friend?”
Alya crossed her arms and glared at Nino.
“I appreciate the offer, but I couldn’t be able to tonight. Though, if you’re available another night, I’d love to,” Aurore said.
“Totally. Hit me up whenever you’re free,” Nino said.
Aurore giggled as her ride honked the car horn. “That’s for me. I’ll see you later, Nino. Bye you two!”
Nino, Marinette, and Alya watched Aurore approach the car. Aurore paused to offer a final smile for Nino before she got in. Nino smiled back until Alya punched his arm once Aurore was gone.
“What was that for?” Nino asked.
“Seriously? You really are Captain Clueless, Nino.”
“Excuse me?”
“You invited another girl to our homework session! It’s only supposed to be us. It’s bad enough that you forgot, but this is too far.”
Nino frowned. “I was trying to be nice. You two always talk about how we should do nice things for each other and our classmates, to make a difference and be heroes. It seems you’re just as big of hypocrites as everyone else.”
“Excuse me?”
“We always hang out together, Alya. We always spend so much time together. I get this is supposed to be our thing, but is it so wrong to help someone else who may need the help? Because it doesn’t seem wrong to me. Besides, you wouldn’t be upset if I invited one of the guys, would you?”
“That’s different!”
“How is this different? Or after all this time, you don’t trust me. That’s it, isn’t it?”
Alya’s jaw dropped as she stared at him in disbelief.
“Uh, Nino? Could I get those lessons for Adrien?” Marinette interjected.
Nino stepped away and kept his bag away from Marinette. “I don’t think so. I’ll be delivering them myself.”
Nino turned and walked away. Alya sneered and glared at him.
“Fine! Do your own homework while you’re at it!” Alya yelled.
“Don’t worry, I will!” Nino yelled back.
Nino headed to the Agreste mansion and dropped off Adrien’s lessons for the day. He took a stroll after in a nearby park while he fumed. He didn’t understand why Alya was always on him like that. Sure, they were together and should spend time together, but was it so wrong he offered to help Aurore? Alya always went on about how evil people win if good people don’t do anything. If they didn’t help Aurore, wouldn’t that mean Chloe would mean and continue mocking Aurore.
Nino’s blood boiled at the idea of Chloe mocking Aurore again. Fake scenarios rolled through his head of what Chloe would do or say to take jabs at Aurore when she didn’t deserve it. So, what if Aurore had been akumatized? They all had been by that point. So, what if Aurore’s grade dropped a single letter? Aurore would get it back for sure.
“Nino?” Aurore called.
Nino paused and turned around. He saw Aurore approach him with her parasol open, blocking out the worst of the sun. Her blue eyes sparkled as she looked up at him. He felt his frustration melt away as she smiled at him.
“Are you ok?” Aurore asked.
“Oh, totally. Just had a little fight with Alya. No big deal.”
“Oh dear. Is everything alright with you two?”
“Yeah. She can just be a little difficult at times. Anyway, how are you? Are you ok after that encounter with Chloe?”
“I am. I was annoyed a little still, but I know I will do better. I’ll get that mark back and be on top of my grades again. Though, I was hoping to ask something.”
“Oh? What’s that?”
“Would you like to help with homework tonight?”
“Well, Alya did saw to do my own homework tonight, so I would say I won’t be with her later. Yeah, I can.”
Aurore grinned. “Would you like to come over now then?”
“Sure. I dropped off Adrien’s lessons already. Was gonna head home, but I can hang with you and do homework.”
Aurore gasped and took Nino’s hand. She dragged him to her car as they hopped in. They sat in silence as they arrived at Aurore’s place. They set up in the sitting room and worked on their homework together. They had taken a few breaks in between assignments as they joked and made small talk. The sun had gone down by the time Nino realized the time.
“Oh, crap. I have to get home. My parents are going to wonder where I am,” Nino said.
“We can give you a ride,” Aurore offered.
“I would appreciate it, but I don’t want to impose.”
“It’d be no trouble. I promise.”
Nino smiled. “Thank you.”
Aurore got their parent to drive Nino home. He got out of the car with Aurore behind him.
“Hey, Nino? Thank you for tonight. It was a lot of fun,” Aurore said.
“It really was. I haven’t had fun like that in a while,” Nino commented.
“Do you think we could do that again?”
“I’d love to. Tomorrow night sound good?”
Aurore grinned as she hugged Nino. “It’s a date then.”
Nino opened his mouth when Aurore planted a quick kiss on his cheek before she retreated into the car. Nino touched his cheek as he watched her leave.
“Oh no.”

Just an idea, but since you did kinda a love month, could you maybe do Alya as a Frog holder X Nino (since SKIPPING year, and google used a frog for it😅)?🥰 (I counted, the 29th Miraculous on your list would be the wolf, but you did not designed it yet, so 28th the Butterfly... Maybe Alyafrog catches Ninomoth with her watering bottle or something... -like anteaters' long toungue, I mean, magic tool- Or just use her frog power on him 😅)

Honestly? It was out of nowhere. Half of the episode was about Nino's crush on Marinette and then he suddenly goes to dating Alya?? Even young me was confused. Other than that, it's fine I guess. I don't ship it, (I don't actually ship any ship from the show except for Lukanette and they broke up xd) but I don't mind it when I'm reading something.
As for MD, Alya is a lesbian and Nino is a guy so it's definitely not happening. They're very good friends tho! Nino gets a little crush but gets over it and starts dating Aurore
