Summary: Seven years out from the war, Harry learns the hard truth of old history: it’s never quite as far behind you as you thought.

This was so so so so so so good!!!!! Like top tier fanfic. Draco’s bought over 12 Grimmauld Place and converted it into a museum, and Harry’s an auror called to investigate a crime at that scene. The pacing and mystery were done pretty well, the writing too, Harry’s idiocy is a bit much but otherwise perfect. Really reminds me of quality fic from the past - think Maya’s DDG etc. Fave!

Summary: If Harry had to get called into work on his day off, at least he was able to get Malfoy called in too.

Harry is an auror, Draco is a cursebreaker, they are in an FWB relationship and tasked to work on a haunted house that traps them in dreams... Pretty fun read but the dream scenes were hard to understand; reminiscent of Inception and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind but it’s a lot harder to get it across through text I think.

Hello hello!! Does anyone still read this?? I can’t believe I used to read fic....... for hours........ but I read this in 18 hours and slept for 5 hours even though I am now a Working Adult with Real Responsibilities...... Also I found out after reading the whole thing that it’s 12 chapters long and 420k words, so, caveat lector, I guess? 

Rereading fic as a grown human, I think super slowburn angsty denial fic where everyone is in love but refusing to say anything about it just rly satisfies an emotional need that is hard to come by in other forms of media. Lol. Also this is terribly smutty. Some parts fell flat and the writing isn’t amazing amazing - Harry and various other plot elements were really childish, it could have been shortened tremendously, the Draco at the start sounded kind of off, and Harry as Head Auror at the age of 21 was ?? - but I enjoyed the plot and thought the author captured the voices of the main characters really well.

Summary: Harry gets de-aged. Malfoy has to help him. I haven’t posted here in ages! Got really excited that Lettered was writing again, and devoured this in a single night against my better judgment (I have exams in a week!!!!). So, don’t make the same mistake I did. But this was really amazing - slow burn, rich characterisation, and tons of comfort (with canon itself providing alllll the hurt). Lettered is a super skilful writer and talented with the details and internal consistency and the sideplot mystery was also deftly handled. And it’s incredibly funny too. It was the best thing. Also, a few director’s cut bonsues: explicit, NSFW sorta-epilogue PWP here and Lettered’s asks about her headcanons and writing process here.

Summary: "I’m twenty-eight!" Harry said. "I’ve been an Auror for ten years! You want me to go back to Hogwarts now?"

Pretty damn good smut and story. The possessiveness and proprietary manner in which Draco deals with Harry (lol count the number of times ‘shove’ is used as a verb) was just great. The writing is superb as per, just pro level really, and the political intrigue was realistic and believable. Liked the characterisation too. Also Harry being seductive is always a treat! Just read astolat.

(Really liked birdsofshore’s comment on the dracotopsharry LJ: When I did, and I got to the Luna revelations and the Harry seduction... Oh my days. My heart was POUNDING, honestly. You write the BEST Toppy!Draco. I was an utter jelly. The dirty talk was simply masterful and the whole dynamic had me beaming and breathless. I adore the effect that Draco had on Harry. It's left me quite incapable of anything sensible. Really wonderfully done, so pacey, and funny, and smart and interesting, and absolutely hit all of my buttons. I must also give an honourable mention to Draco's wardrobe. *wolf-whistles* The whole thing was easily an instant favourite for me, and managed to be full of surprises right til the end. Thank you for this utter delight.)

Summary: Draco found the nest down in the Manor’s cellars, while he was clearing them out.

This fic reminded me of Sara’s Girl’s fic because of the animal friends!! It also has all the ingredients of a v arresting read: Auror Harry, Harry being really perplexingly (both to himself and Draco) friendly despite everyone else hating on Draco, Hermione being Hermione, near death situations, well written smut and UST in said near death situations, forced bondage (lol) and old wizarding traditions! Pacing felt a bit off wrt the resolution of the action-y bits - it could easily have been a 60k fic - but the UST and characterisation and writing were all so on point, I can’t recommend it more highly :D
