imagining aurora’s dead and rotting body 🥹 after the spin off trilogy, what if she killed herself after running away because she wanted to get revenge for chrysi, couldn’t, and decided that if her family and twin brother hates her, she doesn’t have anything else to live for.. and then she killed herself alone in her little cute tree laboratory 😁😁😁 last thing she ever did was journal the complete truth and hide it (i.e. that she was in love with chrysi & loved that azure loved chrysi more than she did, and that losing them both was losing more family than she’s ever grown up with) and then wish she could have a happy good family again <- good news here! she does jump universes into my mainline chryzure modern universe (maybe not mainline. aurora in hellsalem’s lot 🖤🥹 she’d love it) and reconnects with that version of castor, who is exactly as loving and happy to see his twin sister as he always should’ve been, as well as being friends with the chryzure pack (tris delilah, luc, meredith, etc etc etc)
and then she’s just. siiiigh 🖤🖤🖤 soooo rotted, because of the very assertion jacks made: her family won’t look for her for long, because she’s a “monster”. castor was pissed and didn’t want to look for her in the obvious places, so aurora was just sitting there. actively decaying for a couple months. and when castor finally checks her lab out, he finds the journal first, reads it, feels a terrible feeling—then goes inside and there’s his dead, rotten twin sister on the bed. after going thru all the effort to wake up his family from a thousand year sleep, reestablishing them, reconnecting with them… he ignored the sister that was always trying to be by his side, that he always rebuffed because she’d always be there, that’s his twin.
except she won’t be. because her jawbone is exposed from where rodents started eating away skin and maggots are writhing in dark, oozing sores and she’s not breathing and she’s clearly been dead since the last day he saw her.
& that’s when he realizes.. he died for her, but had he cared for her?
