The lights were blazing white against the stage, all of the contestants for the first round lined up in what would be known as a general wellness and appearance segment of judging. Rin looked at everyone else’s pokemon, they all looked so nice- healthy and happy. Her eyes drifted t her own Cloyster, who equally looked as healthy and happy- she knew how to take care of her pokemon...but somehow she was still nervous about it.

Cloyster, was sitting happily at her side, shinning under the light and beaming herself. There wasn’t much in accessory she could have added to the shell pokemon, but a little bow, sea green in color to match the overall blue color scheme of the pokemon, attached to her pearl, carefully of course so as to not cause her any harm. 

“...Here we go,” She whispers as the Judge finally makes it around to them, standing closer to her partner. Cloyster seemed to liven up as the other human approached, making a sort of sing song growl that was actually rather pretty to listen to.

Normally when planning for a huge event, the host would be leading everyone else around the city to prepare. However, this clearly wasn’t the case for the Aurora Cup - at least, not with Roxie. She’d been to Gringey multiple times before and seemed to know the city like the back of her hand, which resulted in her leading Dawn around.

“I was thinkin’ of maybe holdin’ th’demo at dis park near th’pier... it’s got a killer bowl an’ some real nice street stuff. Or maybe we coul’have it at th’drydocks... might need t’order a few extra funboxes, but it’d be a hell’f a backdrop.”
