This book was so so so good. Honestly in the start I didn't expect to like it so much. But Mariana Zapata's books are so slow paced and gives the characters time to develop. I love slow burn romance honestly and this book had all the ingredients to make an amazing book.

Rhodes’s arms tightened around me, and I was pretty sure all of the muscles in his upper body did too as his voice got even more quiet. The soft puff of his breathing tickled my ear as he whispered, “I love you—because you’re mine. Because being around you is like being around the sun. What would your character what their last words to be, and who would they want to say them to?      -  She would want to tell Ian to live his life to the fullest, to be happy again. She would tell him to move on and that she loved him. If your characters’ loved ones were in danger but they only had time to save one of their lives, who would they choose?      - Depends if the baby counts since he’s not a physical presence yet.. if it does, then she would save the baby. If not, then probably Jacob. 

Your character is given the choice to either die an excruciatingly painful death or have one of their loved ones die in a painless way. Do they save their loved one’s life or their own?      - She would save her loves ones.

Your character has the opportunity to fix one of their most grievous mistakes, but doing so will ensure that they never meet at least one of their loved ones and they will not have any memory of their relationship with those loved ones. Do they take the chance to fix the mistake anyway?      - No. I’m not sure that Aurora feels she has made that many mistakes and, even if she did, the people in her life are far too much to her right now for her to even chance not meeting them.

What are your character’s deepest regrets?      - Whatever she did to make her mother dislike her. 

Are there any events in your character’s life that they feel wholly negative about, no silver lining whatsoever?      - The neglect from her mother. Her suicide attempts. 

Does your character have any unfulfilled dreams that can never come true?      - No How was your character first introduced to the concept of death? How did they react?      - It was around 13, and she was watching TV shows in which she became aware of it.. It was something which Aurora sow as an escape... but at that point was too afraid to take it. 

Does your character have any negative associations with otherwise neutral or positive things–i.e., not liking a certain television show because their parents always argued during the time that it came on and the character watched it as a (failed) attempt to distract themselves.      - Most of the music she listened to when her mother was home.. She was trapped in her room and she wanted to block out the rest of the noise from her mother and whoever was around. She doesn’t like to listen to any of it now because it takes her back to then.
