He probably writes too much...he worries is would get on his brothers nerves but they have yet to complain. Hermione smiled and knocked on Theseus’s door. To say they were friends was a bit of a stretch but he was the closest thing she had in the office these days. He seemed a bit presumptuous to her but there were worse things. “Hello, I’m getting ready to go home, would you like to come and have a drink with me?”

Inside the little house, everything was already thrown about with Credence at the front of the mess. He got out a First-Aid box and had it open. “Even if it’s a nip, you n-never know- it could get infected if you don’t take care of it-” The young wizard said quickly.
@aurorthxsxus made me think of this, but really tho, what if Newt was in NY buying the gift for his brother? What if the creature he was looking for is for Theseus? I know people assume somehow the brothers don't get along but what if that's not true? What if the brothers are close and they both love beasts and Newt was actually trying to get his bro a birthday present? What if war hero Theseus Scamander is just as bad about adopting a few million beasts as his little brother? What if Newt is actively contributing and encouraging this beast adoption tendency? Theseus is just, pls gimme a million more and Newt is just ok I can totally do that! Pls gimme Scamander brothers encouraging each other's adoption tendencies!
@aurorthxsxus :Theseus crouched down in the snow taking off his coat. “Hey, hey. It’s ok. I’m not gonna hurt you.” He said placing his coat within reach. “That has my wand in the left coat pocket.” He informed the boy smiling.
He backed further against the stone corner, keeping his eyes on the wizard. He could see the wand and scrambled to grab it before the coat. His eyes turning from the man to look at the wand in sad longing. His fingers so gentle with it, fearing he could break it if he dared hold it tight.
Finally he grabs for the coat and wraps it around himself, curling up more into the warmth of it. “Why..?” He points the wand at the other, feeling stupid since he knew not one spell nor even how to use it. “Why?” He repeated himself.

Cold and alone was where the man would find the scared Obscurus that was trying to keep his self together. The smoke and ash came off him and sunk back into him. He was looking at the other, shaking in what looked to be out of fear. “Please.. don’t..” He whispers.

“Oh come on, haven’t you been good this year?” Hermione teased, handing him the cocoa. “It’s such a cold place, isn’t it?” She said softly, looking out at the ministry. “No place to spend the holidays...unless you have no one to spend them with.” Sadly that was her case, but she hoped she wasn’t presuming the same about the war hero Theseus.

It hits his chest, snow breaking apart and hitting him with a sharp cold. A small smilepulls at his lips when he looks to Theseus. He bends down quickly to get his own snow, ignoring how the snow freezes his hands. He can’t quite get it to look as good as theother’s but he tries. He tosses the snow ball at the other, brushing his cold fingers on his jacket.
