#8 – Liz

So much repetition this week, even more than normal. There is only so many times I can type how gorgeous they are naturally, and how pretty they are. This is exactly what Liz’s shot is. It is cute, a bit fun, very natural. Enough to get her through to the next week, not exactly enough to make me remember it.

#6 – Simone

I feel this photo perfectly summarises what Simone is as a model: commercial and sexy. Those are her two brands she can nail. High fashion just isn’t her thing, and that is fine. Unfortunately for her, high fashion is more up my street. This shot feels so much more junior than everything else, it would be right at home in a teen magazine. Her smile is nice, it is vibrant, and the entire thing feels so youthful. Her body looks absolutely killer as well, as usual.

1. Montana

Montana has been mostly a high fashion girl before now, but this picture proved that she had tons of commercial appeal as well. Her face is so gorgeous and soft, and her flirtatious expression is fantastic and very approachable, perfect for the brief. Her pose feels very candid and effortless as well, and the way her hair is trailing gently in the breeze is stunning. Montana nailed this shot and definitely deserved having her photo published and being the FCO recipient!

2. Rachel

This might the only instance where the judges underrated Rachel. She’s never looked so natural and at ease in a picture. Her excellent pose is relaxed and her face is lovely. It looks like someone told her that she’s beautiful and she can’t quite believe it, it’s really cute. I think this is by far Rachel’s best picture to date!

3. Jess

Jess adapted to this brief very well. Her facial expression is just so warm and inviting and her smile is adorable, cheery, and gorgeous. The pose seems so natural as well, like she’s doubled over at the end of being in a fit of laughter. It’s a nice easy breezy photo from Jess, and she impressed me yet again.

4. Simone

Simone’s shot is pure sunshine and rainbows. Her smile is radiant and the joy in her eyes is completely genuine. The pose is great too, her body looks fantastic and she elongated herself well. Simone’s look is more on the commercial side so I figured she would do a great job!

5. Yolanda

Yolanda looks so beautiful in this shot. Her smile is genuine, there’s a spark in her eyes, and she looks very youthful. The pose is excellent as well, I like the way she hugged her knees and crossed her legs at the ankles, plus she pulled off the chin-to-shoulder nicely. I wasn’t sure if Yolanda was suited for this more commercial brief but she exceeded my expectations.

6. Amelia

Amelia’s face is gorgeous; I love her breathless and dreamy expression, and her tousled hair doesn’t distract from her beauty at all. Her pose is so fun and playful, though I hate that we can see the dirty bottoms of her feet (someone really should have retouched those better). It’s yet another good shot from Amelia.
