1. Alice

Alice excelled herself to a frontrunner with this shot! I love how she made the cheap looking Tigerlily swimwear she was wearing into something expensive (as Alex Perry gladly put in). Her face caught the light well and I love how regal she looks here. Her bone structure looks good here (those cheekbones) and her expression of pure calmness is gospel. Her body also looks sick here. She gave herself curves that I never expected and she elevated the basic swimwear pose with something more high fashion. The arm above her head is a nice touch and although she lost a leg and arm, she still pulled off such an elegant vibe with the pose. Watching Alice on set was a delight to watch and the final product was as good as I expected!

2. Anika

I’ll quote Jodhi here where Anika has the personality of a pumpkin pie but the body that every man would kill to want and it shows here! Her body is sick here, although there are some major flaws to it. The arms that are tentatively floating and the lifted leg is awkward but at she was able to sell the swimwear well. The face really balances the shot to SCO of my list for me. She caught the light amazingly and balanced her face with so much softness, yet her eyes are full of power and intensity. Her bone structure looks so striking. I also fucking love how her hair was styled here as well. Anika was able to balance out sexy with elegant for this shot!

3. Jordan

Jordan’s pose is one of the most unexpected and unique ones of the bunch. I do have one big flaw for it, I wished she lifted her other leg facing the camera instead of the one in the water but ignoring that, it’s a solid pose! I love the lift of her limbs and the delicately raised arm into the air. She looks much taller than she actually does and despite the water ripples covering up the swimwear, she still worked it! I do like how it looks like she's wearing a jacket in the water when it's just the ripple, it's such a cool effect. Her face is also beautiful. I love the serene emotion in her face and the way she lifted her head to the high heavens so we can see more neck. Jordan was able to balance out a sick pose and a calm face for a pretty good shot, though her FCO wasn’t that deserved.

4. Paloma

If we cropped Paloma’s shot to a headshot then this could be FCO easily. I love the organismic expression on her face, the open mouth with the closed eyes work for once because Paloma committed so damn hard onto it. However, her pose does kinda bring her down. Now, it’s not saying it’s bad or anything, not at all. I love the extreme push of the back and the way she bent her neck backwards. It’s so sickeningly to watch and look at. However, she could’ve afforded to extend her legs more because of the way she cramped her legs in, she looks much shorter than she actually is. Paloma was in the bottom 2 due to her shit attitude and her coming in late during the challenge, which I’m ok with. However, if they weighed in only this photo, then she should’ve been easily safe.

5. Steph H

Steph H has the most basic pose of the group but she worked it still. With the more simple pose, she was able to make herself look more taller than she actually is plus it sells the swimwear best out of everywhere there. Also, sidetone, I like how different the lighting is in Steph H’s shot compared to everyone else. It makes her stand out and more mooder in a sense. She was a pretty cute girl so the challenge for the editing here is a nice touch. I do think she was sabotaged by the bad lighting but her face is one of the best from her. She has a nice serene face but the moodiness of it as well is a great balance. The judges creamed all over this shot though I don’t think it’s her best shot. She did amazing on set but still, they chose a good shot.

6. Danica

Danica has the most eye-catching pose of the group. I like how she lifted her leg away from the camera and the way she bent her body away from the camera. It’s the best her body ever looked (in person and in photo, she just does not have an impressive look) and she sold the swimwear pretty well. However, her face ruins the shot for me. I know she’s going for elegant here but it comes off as more tryhard for me. She didn’t commit to the head roll so it looks more halfassed and tense. Plus, the random hand on the head (right one) ruins the face more for me, it look bigger than it actually is due to the angle of the shot and it feels floppy. With a better face, this could be one of the best shots but it is Danica’s best shot to date.

7. Sophie

After the terrible shot from last week, Sophie really had nowhere to go but up. Sophie is only this high because of her body here. She already had a sick body to begin with and it’s never looked better here. I love the sway she’s doing and the angle she’s making with this shot. With the bent torso along with the leg (this is what I mean with what Jordan should’ve done) and the arms going all over the place, it reminds me of a scene in The Little Mermaid. However, her face brings the shot down for me. She didn’t catch the light well on her face. One of her eyes look close while the one is almost open, plus the open mouth looks so tense. Sophie improved though I never got the hype for this shot.

8. Steph F

Steph F was struggling a lot on set (she was forced to redo it) so I’m kinda surprised she was able to create a decent looking shot. I kinda dig the simple pose here. It shows off the swimwear well and ignoring the half assed arm on the back of her head, it makes her body looks really good here and her legs especially look like they’re going on for miles. However, her face is a big old pile of nothing. It’s dead, blank, and more looks like she’s trying not to sleep on the water. I know Steph F struggled a lot on set but I feel like she should’ve made better shots than this, though the judges loved it. I am fine with the high placement since I love her personality and attitude throughout the shoot though.
