1. Jordan

I think that Jordan did the best job of interpreting the Mary Poppins portion of the assignment. Her pose is pretty astounding considering that she was being swung around just as much as everyone else; she worked the umbrella prop and the styling, plus she positioned all of her limbs flawlessly. She really looks weightless and is effortlessly floating down from the heavens to be a nanny for some damn children. However, her face is not up to par with the strength of her body. She connected well with the camera and her gentle expression is nice, but the angle is not the most ideal for her features. Jordan was the best performer overall for me and she delivered one of her strongest shots!

Jordan, like Alice, just stood out to me in terms of looks on the first episode. Her cat-like features just made her one out of the crowd and she had a good body for swimwear. She was one of the shortest girls of the group but that didn’t seem to fuck her over considering she never really looked her height to me. However, she was inconsistent for me, unlike Alice who was constantly great and Steph H with her downfall by the second half. She started off well, with her ok group shot and frankly beautiful Tigerlily, which earned her a FCO from the judges and finally getting in their good graces since she was one of their least favorites. However, after her good start, she started to slide off a bit for me from week 3-6. Her natural beauty was treated way too harshly by the fans and the judges but it’s still a step down, although her runway, avant, and car are fine. I wouldn’t say it’s her best but she clearly made a good effort to it. However, by the end of her trip, she finally seem to get her shit together to make some of her best efforts and one of my personal favorites of the cycle. Her mother daughter shot is still utter trash but it finally got her a FCO from me but her 2 other shots, spies and Mary Poppins, is just beautiful. I still defend her Mary Poppins shot since it’s gained a lot of hate the past few years but it’s just so odd it’s great to me. She did struggle with her emotions in underwear shot, which reminded me more of a soap opera frame more than anything. However, she ended off things with a bang with her pretty Hollywood shot, which should’ve justified her making it to the finale over Steph H, who’s just been on a downfall into the ground. I can’t really comment much on her walk since compared to Alice, it was just ok. She had a lot of personality and swag to her walk but it could be too much for a lot of people. My problem with her is that she was more of an actress more than anything. As a model, she’s fine but considering the challenges she would have to face (being the shortest of the group), she wouldn’t have a lot of success as a model. Still, Jordan was one of my favorite personalities of the group! She was super sweet, also a sassy bitch and making the cycle her bitch in terms of that, no wonder she won personality of the cycle from the live finale. I would love to see more of Jordan in the finale and she would be an easy pick for my top 2, even if Alice was there

3. Jordan’s Mary Poppins

I’ve said it before but Jordan’s shot is just so weird to me, but in a good way. The eternal calmness of her face with the more chaotic pose makes her shot stand out to me in a way that I’ve never really seen before. Her face is beautiful as always, which is odd because unlike Paloma, she always struggled when it came to her face. Thank fuck that this week is one of her best face shots. Her pose is so controlled and natural, it looks like she wasn’t being flung around the place but instead posing for ballet. Jordan’s shot is just odd yet beautiful all around.

2. Jordan

Jordan was able to finish her rollercoaster of a performance here with one of her other best shots. I love how she’s just chilling out on the chair like some rich bitch. She spread herself out really well so despite her limbs looking quite stiff, I still like the laidback vibe of the shot. Her face is also great. She looks expensive here and one of the few times where her face shines here. She has a haughty vibe to her expression and the sultry eyes leaning into the camera is a nice touch. Jordan did well in the LA go-sees and in this photo and in the actual final 3 given to us, she would be an easy second place. At least she was able to end things off well (and win a bunch of shit for being the most popular girl in the cast).

3. Jordan

Jordan aced the acting challenge of the week but model wise, she flopped badly. First of all, the acting portion of this photo. She was supposed to look suspicious and in terms of that, she nailed it. She looks scared of her partner and was able to partake in that. However, modeling wise, it’s a mess. She pushed her body up too much and spreader her leg out too far, causing her to look much shorter than she actually is. Her eyes are too flicked back as well so she looks possessed and despite selling the underwear well, it still looks more like a frame to a soap opera. I’m happy that Jordan stayed but she flopped on an important week.

1. Jordan

This shot has always been my guilty pleasure from this cycle and AusNTM in general. If I could compare it to something, I’ll just use this quote from a blog, “it looks like a ad for fetish ballet shoes and tutu-esque tulle”. It’s odd but it makes sense to me. I’m mostly impressed at how Jordan was able to hold onto the pose considering that she was being swayed around a shitton. Her pose is so relaxed and weightless in a sense. She held onto her limbs well and the use of the umbrella adds to the theme more. I also really love her face despite how photoshopped it looks. There’s a serene calmness to it and the connection to the camera is powerful. Jordan’s FCO was 100% deserved this week.
