very important question for dogblr

I know that the general consensus is nay on the doodles, but I love my lil yorkiepoos so much that I would love to get a bigger doodle for my next dog. I’ve been pretty deadset on a goldendoodle but, what do y’all think about aussiedoodles? I want a dog that I can take on long hikes who will love the water but also be totally down with chilling on the couch and can take a hint as to when it’s time to be chill and time to be energetic. the no/low shedding thing is a huge win for me and I’ve taught myself how to groom so I’m not worried about fur maintenance. they need to be good with cats, I know that aussies would probably try to herd them (has three catchildren) but I’m not really all that worried about that. 

relative independence would be a plus as I work a full time job, I crate train all my dogs but knowing that they would be content by themselves for a few hours and not riddled with anxiety would be gr8
