When I first read the tweet, I thought I knew what @kriegundfreitag meant by “Aussparung” -- a built-in holder for a smartphone. Then I looked up “Smartphone-Aussparung,” expecting to see many examples of such holders, only to discover the iPhone X’s notch, which gave me a completely and confusingly new visual. So I gave it more thought . . . and think I was right the first time.
