A personal note, on why I am grateful for Austin for where I am

16 March 2024 was the day I saw Dune 2 for the first time.

I saw this and I was done.

No room for any resistance.

I was enraptured.

Within days, I learned who this man was. He, this... machine... got me to change my life. To take ownership. To take control.

Just look at him... faaaaaackkkkkkking hell....

After a few months in the gym, and eating cleaner, I started to see results.

Then, I got more ambitious. I started to obsess over those arms. In August, I still recall the day and work out, I started with a German 10 lateral raise and front raise. 2.27 kg per hand in an American styled gym.

Now, May/June 2025, I do 6 kg per hand, sets if 10 reps, up to 7-8 kg if I feel like it. Plus some other exercises, but these I do most loyal. Those, and the upright row.

I choose to believe I am seeing some definition.

Recently, after posting all those Buttler focussed photos of his butt for @dailydoseofaustinbutler , and his work out, I decided I needed to start working on my butt.

And this is currently my ABWorkOutForButts® routine:

Sumo squat and dead lift, each 2 or 3 sets of 20 reps with something fairly light - 12 or 16 kg dumbbells, followed by 10 reps of 24 and 28 kg.

Kettle bell swing with the lower weights, 10 reps.

Yes, I got that from this video below. I need this man to make a workout video.

Anyhow. Take it from this person who is an absolute couch potato, who does not like to move, who does not do outdoors... just start. Surely, Austin Feyd would be proud (well, not, but still... I am grateful where I am).

+ I am obsessed with the prep of the breitling commercial. Would they have been open and said: "Mr ButTler, we will be doing a zoom in shot of your behind, so please bring it in plump and delicious?" And would they have had a check in meeting a few weeks in advance to check on the ripeness, and fitingness with the jeans? Which brand jeans is he wearing? How did he train to become so perfectly shaped? So many questions so few answers
