Do you see what I'm talking about? !? We hiked 7 miles and 3,000 vertical feet and what a reward! We were all just in awe at the #majesty of this place. I'm so so so in love with #planetearth . We'd only slept about 4 hours the night before but were quickly reenergized by the clean #mountainair and the #incredibleviews . How could you be tired when you're surrounded by this #beauty ? We only had the day so rest was not an option. We started hiking around 9:30 and kept going until 14:00ish but by then I was having a hard time keeping my eyes open. We climbed so high and deep in the #mountains that the #lake was no longer visible and there were no more tourists, only us and our lovely #motherearth . Over the hours we'd been exploring, the town had been taken over by tourists and as we descended we saw more and more people from all over the world bustling in this tiny town. You could tell the locals are tired of all these foreigners because they're a bit short and rude with their answers. I can't blame them, I've worked in hospitality for so long I know the frustrations of dealing with the general public. So we quickly got our return ferry tickets to the train station and headed back towards a small, more affordable town nearby where we stayed at a bed and breakfast with the sweetest elderly couple. I thought I'd just want to go to bed but we decided to go out on the town for our one night there where we were taken in by the locals. #austriaisamazing . . . . . . . . . #travel #travelblogging #travelphotography #majesticmountains #ilovethisplanet #howtohavefuninaustria #amazingaustria #hiking #hikingrewards #ilovehiking #thisiswhyitravel #thisiswhatilivefor #howtolivealifelessordinary #befriendthelocals #hikingaustria #hiketheworld #outdoorlife #carpediem #travelblogger #lovemylife #lovemyplanet #ilovetraveling #hikingphotography #inthemountains #iloveearth (at Hallstatt, Austria)
