'Ghosts in the Night Sky' by Franz Sedlacek, 1926.
Gunter Damisch Gunter Damisch (1958 - 2016 ) was an Austrian artist known for his lush paintings of rhizome-like forms and undulating lines. " This world is inhabited by a large number of invented beings that can be ascribed to either a microcosmic biological or a macrocosmic spiritual world. These beings drift in the streams of air, water, earth and fire emerging from a universe that has been subjected to a never-ending process of change by the creator. Gunter Damisch’s “Flämmler”, lucid amblers between time and space, can be seen in this context as metaphors for the fleetingness of human existence, at least for its consummation in a processual dimension." #art #artist #painters #austrianartist #austrianpainter #europeanpainting #artistic #fineart #artworks #painting #metaphorespainting #graphics #contemporaryart #VisualArt #culture #blog #artblog @expositionblog https://www.instagram.com/p/COC19OGnOnE/?igshid=wd9yngs99i5f

Went to the @neuegalerieny today for the first time today, and viewing a lot of my favorite artworks in person was definitely a nice early birthday gift. 📷 Credit: @d.r.k_210 #gustavklimt #austrianpainter #gallery #neuegalerieny (at Neue Galerie New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CZa7B8JsXUT/?utm_medium=tumblr
August Walla August Walla (1936–2001) was an Austrian outsider artist. Walla worked very artistically as a draftsman, painter and photographer. In his art, he captured his surroundings by painting invented and existing symbols as well as godlike creatures on objects (even on houses or trees). Figures and symbols can be found in all his works. He created a complete artistic cosmos. August Walla lived in the House of Artists in Maria Gugging since 1983 and was one of the most versatile artists of the so-called "Art Brut" #art #artist #painter #austrianpainter #austrianartist #artistic #fineart #artworks #paintings #graphics #drawings #avantgardeart #outsiderartist #outsiderart #contemparyart #VisualArt #culture #blog #artblog @expositionblog https://www.instagram.com/p/COu8edLHaK6/?igshid=1tuvb31tz2msf
