hey everyone! good news is that i finished my most stressful phase (final paper for college)! bad news is that i still have to repeat one class bc i failed it 😭 but HOPEFULLY this semester will be less stressful, so i might get back to the comic soon!!!

let's hope this year will be kinder to us all 🥲

Not sure if I made this disclaimer already, but Imaginary Friend is only Undertale (Post-True Pacifist) compliant. The original story was written before Deltarune and other releases of Undertale (like the Switch one). I'm saying this mainly to new readers, besides the fact I'm still updating the comic, lol. Imaginary Friend has been going since 2017, I'm aware some concepts and theories surrounding Gaster have changed since then, especially with the release of Deltarune, but I'm being mostly faithful to the original fanfiction.

Not that there are wrong theories regarding Gaster (or even Sans and Papyrus), but anyway, I felt like saying this since, again, this comic is still going and things have changed a lot since 2017. I'm sure you get it.

I started this comic in 2017. Actually, a bit earlier (2016) if you consider the first few pages I drew and then deleted (only posted them on my DeviantART).

I feel bad about the slow updates, but I think they also help me look back and see what I would like to change or to deepen in the story. The last few pages (where Frisk freaks out when they don't find Gaster + their conversation with Papyrus) were not part of the original story! And I really like these additions I'm making. It makes me fall in love again and again with these characters, and this friendship between Frisk and Gaster.

I appreciate you folks being so patient, you're the best readers/followers I could have 🫶🏼

this last semester absolutely ended me, so i won't promise anything, but i'll try to finish the next page, since it's like, halfway done. i want to get one last page done before the year ends. but again, i'll try to be patient with myself.
