I’ve just had the most uncomfortable yet intelligent realisation. 10 k words is... by my normal standards... 3.5 chapters The story I just outlined is to be 10-20k. And by looking at the outline I’ve just put together... it’s more like 80-100. Lol. Surprise surprise. Have to minimise and rewrite after put this in for boxed set. 😕. Not what I’d planned, but should be an interesting exercise.
