-2022- Most families are celebrating academic achievements at the end of year but we’re celebrating making it through the first year of HIGH SCHOOL! I wish I could say how easy it was, but it really wasn’t. Regardless of the challenges our Spartan and his siblings all deserve gold awards for their efforts, commitment and love to each other and our little family🤍 . . The Spartan has responded significantly well to centre based therapy and all the strategies we have put in place. I have worked tirelessly these past two years with the Spartan and I’ve seen such a massive impact. It weighs heavy on my heart to have to return to full time work next year knowing just how much progress he’s made . . As a carer and parent I have reached my capacity far too many times this year, and I fear what the new year will look like now finally realising how alone I am in my roles. I wanna say “I’ve got this 💪🏽”, but I’d be lying because honestly I’m 💩 myself. I'm anxious about the load that comes with working full time, I'm anxious about whether I'll still be able to find time for myself, anxious about being spread too thin & become disconnected with my kids and myself. . . ** breathe ** . . So I continuously remind myself that I am enough. What I’m doing is enough. & I know the Spartan and his siblings are grateful for my love, and if they're happy and healthy .. it's enough. I can and I will … continue to soldier on, I’m going to manifest this 💩 . .
