Hiiii I just wanted to know if you think 1p Germany stims since you said you headcanon him as autistic :D thx thx thx 💚💚

- He does stim pretty often, but he usually doesn’t realise that what he’s doing can technically be considered stimming

- He mainly stims by pacing around, it’s usually from one side of a room to the other. Typically, the faster he is from one side to the other, the more overwhelmed he is

- Stares at lava lamps a lot, could probably just stare at them for a solid 20 minutes. Will also stare at spinning fans, but this is usually less than the lava lamps

- Unfocusses his eyes so that everything goes blurry, but this usually gives him a headache so he doesn’t do it for too long

- Cracks his knuckles, neck, wrists, shoulders, etc. However, he doesn’t do it around other people unless they’ve said that it’s alright, just in case they don’t like the sound

- Taps his fingers or his pen on desks/tables, commonly does this during meetings - especially when it’s silent

Do you think 1p Germany would mask around people?

1p Germany is almost always masking, there are maybe 3 or 4 people that he feels that he can unmask around. Even with those people, sometimes he still doesn't want to because of the fear they'll find him weird and just leave him, even if he knows it's extremely unlikely, so he usually only unmasks when it's just him (+ his dogs). It's exhausting for him, and his autistic traits sometimes are more visible to others, but he tries to mask around pretty much everyone.

would you please expand on the autistic germany headcanon you said?

(I would like to again state that I am autistic so please don’t get mad at me for these, some are shaped by my own experiences!)

- I feel like his special interest would be on something like engineering, mostly with tanks and cars, but it could also be something like baking. Little torn between what to make it but he has had multiple hyperfixations in his life

- He LOVES fixing things to make them work again, small things like pocket watches or even just the microwave

- Gilbert uses sarcasm a lot so he know how to use it in his speech, but he only really understands it if it’s exaggerated when someone else says it otherwise he has a hard time picking up on it

- Masks almost all of the time and struggles to not even when he’s alone because it’s become normal to do that

- He lets all three of his dogs lay all over him at the same time because it’s like a free weighted blanket as they’re all huge and weigh quite a lot

- Pacing. A LOT of pacing.

- Can’t control his volume. People usually think he’s yelling but in his mind, he’d feel like he was speaking at a normal volume. He tries really hard to not and has gotten a LOT better at being able to do this!

- A lot of his how-to manuals are about interacting with people and he has like 50 bookmarked pages on his laptop about the same things 

- He can’t handle loud noises too well, especially if it’s multiple people talking all over each other. This is why he’ll have moments where he’ll scream at people/lash out when they do this
