This is one of the nicest old mill conversions I've seen. They built around the original working parts of the 1856 mill in Lone Rock, WI. 2bds, 2ba, 4,388sqft, $849,900.
Not only did they build around the original components of the mill, but they've also incorporated architectural salvage pieces, like the frame around the double doors looks like it was a mantel from a huge fireplace.
This is so pretty.
Through those double doors there's a lovely, roomy vintage bath.
Nice dining room. They arranged furniture and salvaged pieces to act as walls and separations. All of the columns and ceilings are original.
The kitchen is lovely. It doesn't look like a fitted kitchen, yet all of the pieces go together perfectly.

On the 2nd level, there's a roomy, light-filled studio.
The primary bedroom is very large and there's an old fan suspended from the ceiling.
They fashioned the shower under an original part of the mill. That's so clever.
And, look at the grinding gears.
I love to see the mechanisms.
This bedroom has 2 beds in private frames with curtains.
There's plenty of room for gym equipment.
Plus, there's an entire TV room with room to spare.
