It's a tiny little studio!! And I'm mostly done with anxiety bc I talked to both my roommate and my landlord and yup I handled things yo!! Listen.... the 'Ace's little brother' and not my or our little brother part ... Luffy is his baby brother too but imagine how hurt Luffy probably is when he realises that ever since he met Sabo again Sabo has only been refer to him as ace's little brother and not 'my little brother' BC THAT IS WHAT YOU MADE ME THINK I AM IN PAIN

Ace gave his life for Luffy, I won’t let that sacrifice be in vain!”It all sounds nice and stuff, but Luffy would soon realise that Sabo sees him as nothing more than an extension of Ace, which would suck so much. He’d probably figure thats why Sabo refuses to hug him, why Sabo never woke him up to say goodbye. He’s nothing more than a duty for Sabo, an obligation that he needs to fulfill. One was before eating the flame fruit one was after, but all it means that Sabo manages to be even more obsessed while simultaneously being emotionally disconnected from Luffy. (If you wanted to take this theory all the way, you could even make the argument that Sabo has become so obsessed with seeing the world through Ace’s eyes that he slowly starts to lose his own sense of identity)

Let’s see:

-Mostly nonverbal, rarely speaks and instead expresses intent through actions (holding up their tambourine edit:harp and striking a pose to show Abigail, grabbing Leah and lifting her up to reach the fruit.)

-Always wears the same outfit, even to events such as the flower dance and their wedding.

-Some of their chat options can show a lack of social awareness.

-Mostly because I want to and I like headcanoning characters as autistic.

I might have had some other reasons but those are the ones I can think of right now.

Sabo is emotional and blubbering for weeks I stg he'd be ?? So upset ?? But there's also happiness there because no he knows (firsthand kinda) that Ace died being loved and KNOWING and ACCEPTING he was loved and that's a small reassurement mmmm I'm feeling emotional the CONCEPT of Sabo gaining his memories his just !! There's so much !! You can do !! Like this or like Sabo going "Luffy... I'm so sorry I left you alone with Ace you drove him bat shit crazy and ace doesn't have 8 eyes to watch you

BUT IM GLAD THERE WERE PEOPLE WHO WERE.” i wonder if he’d be feeling the pain of the mortal wound though. sabo isn’t a D, he’d be so fucked up over the complete happiness Ace felt at the end despite the immense pain. BUT LIKE SABO WOULD KNOW BETTER THAN MOST PEOPLE HOW MUCH ACE HATED HIMSELF, KNOWING ACE FOUND PEOPLE HE COULD CALL FAMILY, SOMEONE HE COULD CALL FATHER.... IT’D MAKE IT ALL WORTH ITthat last part though....... sounds like a chance for Conflict. Sabo already tends to see Luffy through the perspective of Ace’s Last Will, he’d be even more of a pain with Ace’s memories. He’d never be just Luffy, he’d just be Ace’s little brother and therefore someone Sabo must protect specifically because of that connection to Ace
