I won't lie I'm holding out hope that the lighteyes darkeye discrimination gets worked on and discussed more in the second arc of Stormlight. I understand it getting pushed to the back burner to an extent, given just how vast the problems have become. But also there's a parallel to be drawn of lighteyes:humans::dark eyes: listeners/parshendi.

But I feel like the only hints of this we get are Kaladin realizing a huge number of the enemy troops are just people who have been enslaved and don't want to kill, but do want vengeance for what was done to them. And Kaladin is torn in his own arc (still rereading Oathbringer, so idr if he comes to a conclusion on it). When he tries to express this to the others, Jasnah and Dalinar both shut him down because they've learned to think of the bigger picture and not care what crumbles under their feet to hang it
