Alright so I was finally tried on IVIG in November... I received 120g of gammunex-C over a 4 day period, 3 days after the last day I started to feel better and by a week post-treatment I was in remission (It did not reverse pre-exsisting neuropathy damage or my tachycardia,, but took away everything else ). Treatment lasted for 5.5 weeks and symptoms slowly began to get worse after that. It took insurance 3 weeks to approve it again and I flared with every fiber of my being. I received 100g over 2 days last week and have just gone back into remission. I will be getting it every 6 weeks as a scheduled thing and he hopes my remission with be continuous.
The treatments make me feel really sick after I get them, for at least a couple of days I feel like I am fighting the flu... but overall....
I am pretty psyched.
