This one caught my eye because it is awesome looking. The technology involved in automatic sorting with scary handwritten postcode readers making stuff get to where its being sent.
Iraq used to have a pretty good football team in terms of the Arab nations. Having won half of the Arab Nations Cup, which is impressive as there have been times when the team has been banned from international competing for political reasons and then there was some hoohah with FIFA, but I think that's what its there for, or something. Anyway, Iraq hosted the Arab Nations Footbal cup in 1966 and won in front of a home crowd with one stadium, this stamp presumably celebrating that they were hosting as opposed to winning hails from Iraq Golden Generation of Football as opposed to the Dark Generation which saw the team's players being tortured if they didn't perform to standard.
