"Apple turnovers," Sami hums excitedly when he catches the other eyeing the pastries he's working on with delicate precision. "Just picked the apples this weekend, so, um.." Xe shrugs, a warm smile firmly planted on xyr face. It seems xe's always happiest when xe's baking.

"I figured, why wait. Don't-- They're not do- not done yet, though, so, maybe don't..." They chuckle at the other's eagerness. "There's plenty for you to have when they're done, okay? Just- just- just give it a few more minutes."

Ella looked down at the hot cup in her hand, and then back up at the bunch of screaming children, parents and couples that littered the area of the farm lands. Some where at the picnic tables near their own, some where playing in leaves, some heading home, some taking walks down the trails and others towards the patch. The wind whipped slightly cutting in the relatively warm day, luckily not muggy though. 

“Sooooooo....people just...drink this and ...what? Sit?” Ella asked the woman who shared her table, and who convinced her this was a must do for fall- to appreciate the season. 

Ella appreciate all seasons, she appreciated nature and the cycle of life of the trees and plants around her. But fall was her second to last favourite holiday, she loved the warm, the spring, the flowers, the bounty. And growing up she never celebrated holidays or did these types of things. So she felt bad trying to understand what was going on for the sake of Haley, who seemed excited to share this fall tradition. She hazard a hesitant sip of the too hot apple cider, wincing as she forced the liquid down, it was still too hot to taste.

“Oh, I’m glad you agree,” Ororo sighed with relief, pleased to see there was someone else who was fond of the fruit. “I just stocked up on pumpkin scented candles for my loft, and I can’t wait to light them!”

Stella laughed as she cupped the face of one of her loves, her eyes peering down into their own as they’d woken up tangled together. Six legs somehow into a knot and it made her laugh as she was the one in the middle yet again. Purring softly she let her nails lightly scratch their skin and she sighed at the warmth from the love behind her. “Come on, please?” She’d beg from the both of them; not minding the morning affection but she was pouting in the current moment. “Everything is finally in stock, Starbucks as my favorite latte; it’s chilly and rainy weather..” She had a little whine in her voice that usually made anyone bend to her will. Well anyone who wasn’t the two people with whom she shared a life with. “I’ll do the chores for a month! I’ll do anything.” She whispered as she caressed cheeks and pressed back against another body. “This is my time of year; you both know this.. it’s all I ask. Please? Pretty please?”
