I want to draw more of them but currently I am barely surviving the heatwave--

ughhhh so tired of it being 90+ degrees deliver me of my sweat
Petition to make the entirety of autumn (which is from September 23rd to December 21st) all Halloween.
Pros:
- Costumes become normal attire for three months.
- Handouts of free candy/treats.
- “Sweater weather” becomes “Sweater over Darth Vader* costume weather” (*or any other villain costume of choice)
- Costume parties.
- Encourages interaction with your neighborhood via trick or treating, therefore, building community pride.
- No stress and strain over what type of gift to give like other holidays- just get some good tasting treats and hand them out.
- Reminds adults that it’s okay to dress up and pretend and imagine.
- You are encouraged to conquer your fears by turning it into something fun.
-Related spiritual holidays (All Souls' Day, Day of the Dead, etc.) remind us to celebrate the lives of those who have gone before us. Something everyone can relate to despite religious differences.
- It’s a celebration of creativity- from who comes up with the best house decorations, to the best and most creative carved pumpkins and costumes.
- Family and groups of friends that are like family come together to make the most of their costumes and amazing things like this are born.
- The majority of Halloween standard music is liked by the majority of people.
- The color scheme of blacks, whites, oranges and purples is very pleasing to the eye and never comes across tacky.
- Have a crappy work/school uniform? Well forget about wearing it when Halloween takes over with costumes for everyone!
- Halloween movies are amazing and rarely considered cheesy or groan-worthy with over-the-top sentimental messages.
- Extended Halloween makes Christmas unable to fully start before December 21, therefore reducing the time we have to deal with the music, the family we don’t like visiting, and the consumerism.
- Erases Thanksgiving, because we really don’t need a day celebrating football, spending time with family you don’t like and the invasion of Europeans on the native peoples of America.
- Did I mention the costumes? Because not only do you get one, so does your baby, your grandma, your siblings, your cat, your dog, and anything else you care to put on it (like your lawn gnome).
- Encourages people who aren’t old ladies / cosplayers to go to the craft stores and buy stuff for costumes.
-Would encourage people to learn to love black cats, bats, spiders, rats and other disliked animals by bombarding them with cute images of these animals for 3 months.
- Combines all the good things about the other holidays (candy/presents) without making it exclusive to a certain demographic (those in relationships, kids who still believe in the Easter Bunny/Santa, gifts only for those people you know) and makes them available to everyone.
Cons:
- I may run out of money to spend on fabric for costumes.
