“ I bought my first SLR and signed up for a basic photography class through an adult education program, hoping for a new hobby to get me out of a cocoon of grief. That was 15 years ago, and I still get the same thrill out of hunting down spring wildflowers or colorful leaves as I did that first year. Walking in the woods is my version of a religious experience. I have little free time, with a full time job and a 3 year old son, but any spare moment I can get I’m grabbing my camera and heading to the nearest park. This Tumblr is really the only place I share my photos, so I sincerely thank anybody who takes the time to like or reblog them, or especially leave a comment.”
